  1. And everyone just let's your continued put-downs of those on the right slide right on by. Maybe it's because they don't won't blow back from calling you out . . . or maybe it's because they are aware of some "condition" you might have, of which I am unaware.
  2. Evidently he only acknowledges service if it is/was forced . . . and served out within 2 years in an arty unit . . .
  3. What a joke. It's all over the news . . . even the liberal crap news . . . that this was a terrorist attack . . . . the stupid President says it is . . . What is your problem? Evidently facts.
  4. Is there a good time for the AC to go out? Late Fall, I would think. Let me know if I win.
  5. Today Chattahoochee Tech Public Safety is offering free training on Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE). Session 1 is 10-12 Session 2 is 3-5 Again, this is free and it is informative. This is offered at the Paulding campus, btw.
  6. Hope all you Mothers had a great day!!
  7. All of the candidates from both nights were given the questions ahead of time. The only questions they didn't know in advance were the very few that were from submissions by attendees and those asked by one candidate to another. This was made clear at the start both nights.
  8. All: I appreciate it. I hope for a speedy and full recovery for superstarcd15's FIL.
  9. Bad weekend for FILs. Mine was killed in a wreck this morning.
  10. Republican debate 4/25 and 4/27 6-9p Paulding Chattahoochee Tech auditorium.
  11. 1. Laptop, tablet or smart phone 2. Teachers should allow/encourage those with a device to utilize it to complete/research projects, gather information for discussion groups, etc. 3. I believe Cobb provides iPads (or did), and it would be great if devices could be made available to those who need it (or would rather use the school's for school work). 4. Cons: If the school cannot/will not provide devices, there would be some kids who wouldn't be able to take advantage of what technology has to offer; breakage and theft would most likely become a problem; increased traffic on the ne
  12. You shouldn't want what they have - you should pity them. They are the type of people who want/need to feel important and cling to their family name to fulfill that need. They know if they move anywhere else they will just be another regular person. So the lack of real motivation, the lack of courage and the lack of individuality is highlighted - along with the shallow arrogance - generation after generation. In other words, celebrate the fact you have not been content to stay put in one small (very small and insignificant) county.
  13. Wow . . . I wonder what your world is like when recognizing a problem equals hysteria.
  14. I doubt anyone here will think of Putin as a hero or as anything brilliant. Having said that, I suspect he will take meaningful action and not try to talk the problem away. It should be noted that action he has taken in the past against factions in Georgia- action that has been condemned by everyone - was, for the most part, against Muslim uprising.
  15. Our problem is we (as a Country) like to "care" too much for other groups. You big thinkers, full of your self importance and considering yourself well-read and well-informed, are following the paths you are conditioned to follow. You trip over each other trying to prove how tolerant and compassionate you are (a feeble and obvious attempt to meet the false standard of what is right), yet you totally miss what's important: Your willingness to go out of your way to be compassionate to those who might want to do you harm is denying the very same compassion to your friends and your fam
  16. So, evidently, your second instinct is to point fingers at the president . . . from the last decade.
  17. A healthy perspective is to recognize evil for what it is and to call it such. Anything else is no only having an unhealthy perspective, but also actively choosing to let evil thrive. Good luck. . . . you do know what too many of the people around here are like, right? Talk about an agenda!
  18. Yeah, that'll narrow it down to about half the county.
  19. What? I didn't lose anything at all on my laptop. I did "lose" my DVD drive on my desktop, but a short line of code corrected that. In fact, a few days after upgrading I found a sock I had lost a few weeks earlier. Coincidence? I think not.
