Sorry this happened to you. Good news is, part of your policy of insurance means, your insurance carrier will act as your collection agent and pursue said dead beat to collect your out of pocket deductible. Leave a mssg. for the investigating officer to call you. Give him proof/letter stating the defendant was uninsured. He can still issue citation. If not, show up at court and explain with proof in hand to the solicitor. They can still bring charges. (not to mention SHAME in open court...) (((hugs))). Glad you are OK!

In this case, SELF INDUCED means ALLEGEDLY he did way too many drugs and got way too into huffing paint. To the point of seizures, but once he was back up and around again, he would go right back out and do it to himself over and over again. SELF INDUCED. Sorry if I wasn't clear. He has been home from NW less than 30 days and he's already been arrested twice. I am assuming he was out on bail from the first criminal trespass arrest when this incident occurred. I think he will be fine cooling his heels where he is at. If they send him to NW or any other facility he would just be back in a month or two and we're back to more of the same. I for one do not want to take that risk. What if he waited until my daughter got further down Reece road, away from witnesses before he made his move? Nothing but woods and trees on either side of the road. I do not know what his "INTENT"

I spoke with the Perp's father. He lives with his Mom off Mt. Tabor. Father says he was diagnosed schizophrenic at age 18. (won't go into what he was using/doing/HUFFING on here, but sufficed to say he was in with the wrong crowd). He is 33 years old. He was just released from NW Ga Regional 4/21/11. This is his 2nd arrest in less than a month. It would appear he is off his meds. The knee jerk reaction is to return him to NW GA Regional. But they will only turn him loose again to his Mom in a few months. Serious question, do they have mental wards or the ability to care for schizophre

I think you are talking about the morning he showed up with his dog IN HIS PAJAMAS and was kicking the doors asking them to let him in. Admin asked him to leave and then PCSO arrested him at the front entrance for trespassing. He lives over off Mt. Tabor. About a mile from the school. Cut thru/walking path would be Mt. Tabor to Holland to Brooks Rackley and he's at the school.

Drive-able is one thing. Road worthy/safe is another. The officer was looking out for you/other drivers on the road maybe? I have no clue why he would insist the county tow service tow it vs. your personal choice. I would have called him on that. When in doubt, ask for a superior to reason with. As far as the towing/impound fee and daily charges, contact your insurance carrier ASAP. They can arrange to have it moved to insurance friendly lot where it will no longer incur storage fees while the insurance companies sort it out.

I got a promotional "free airline ticket" from my bank for using my debit card X amount of times during the month of October. I finally got the voucher to claim my "free" ticket. It was a free companion ticket, one way. You can't use it if you buy the promotional sale fares, etc. You would have to pay full price for one, companion free, then buy two full price return fares. Not such a deal....

I would like nothing more than for this guy to get the help he needs, whatever that may be. Mental or incarceration. I don't have a preference. Just get him off the streets and away from our school and our kids!

It's less than a mile from school to home. All in public view. Many people around. The same 33 year old guy "allegedly" tried to attack/accost my 16 year old daughter on her walk home today.
