Hubby and I will be there--he is doing the announcing and providing most of the sound!

It may be my sister and brother in law's rental property--they have a rental property on Macland that caught on fire this afternoon/evening.

This is so unbelievably sad. Things like this should NEVER happen, but unfortunately seem to happen all too frequently. Bless this child and all she had to endure during her short time here on earth.

I too was told this about 4 years ago. I am a nurse and did alot of research and had a 2nd and 3rd opinion before making a decision. I ended up having radioactive iodine ablation instead of a thyroidectomy. For me, it was the best decision and has worked out very well. I do have to take thyroid replacement meds and have labs checked every 6 months. But I would have to have that done anyway even if I had the thyroidectomy. My advice is this--research, research, research and get at least one other opinion. Good luck!

It took me 1 hour and 45 minutes to go 22.5 miles from Hwy 278/Hwy 120 to Windy Hill Road. Better than yesterday though!

Over 3 hours to get home from Atlanta!

I'm with ya! It took me 2 hours and 15 minutes to get home from Windy Hill Road at I-75.....A gazillion roads closed! I was freaking out-I am not from here and had to talk to the hubby all the way home so that he could detour me to different routes each time......Hope everyone else made it home safely! -
The house involved and the woman yelling for help are good friends of ours. They were actually rescued by boat today. They were able to rescue her, her husband and their two dogs. They were unfortunately not able to locate their two cats. Please keep them in your prayers.

I'm a dermatology nurse....LOVE my job! Also, step-mom to two fabulous kids, mom to fantabulous furbabies and wife to my wonderful hubby!

Thanks! If you need some help, maybe we could all learn how to do it together

I am drawing a blank on her name, but he did not choose Malissa. He proposed to the other girl (Tali?) and she said yes!

I think it is coming on at 9 instead of 8 tonight. At least that is what hubby said--of course, he could just be trying to keep me happy.

We went in 2005 and it was fabulous! Beautiful island, AWESOME food, fun things to do on the island. Very fun to travel around the island on foot or a golf cart. We did an oyster bar on the beach with a bonfire-it was soooo much fun! They also have a GREAT spa. I can't wait to go back again!

Makes sense now--I heard all the sirens going by and wondered where they were going. Prayers for all involved.

I know how you feel-we have 6 barking dogs going crazy! I've put them in the garage (which has no cars in it) with a portable air conditioner and a radio, but they still are not amused. Good luck all!

Hooters in Hiram is doing a car show with a DJ and bouncy thing for the kids from 2 to 10.

I am so glad it was nothing serious! Not knowing I'd the worst. Hope he has a fun and safe trip! Edited to say: Not know IS the worst. I was typing on the blackberry while driving. Bad idea, I know!

I've heard only good things about them--good luck!

True--and you typically see tinea versicolor on the upper body (upper chest, upper back and upper arms) more so than lower trunk. What derm are you guys seeing? If you don't mind me asking.

I've seen it happen without being scaly, sometimes just more blotchy than anything else. Good luck!! If I can do anything let me know.

I've been a dermatology nurse for about 5 years and that looks like pityriasis rosea to me. Pityriasis rosea is an asymptomatic rash that is usually found on the trunk, but can spread to extremities. The dermatologist can do a "punch biopsy" (which is a biopsy where they remove a 3mm piece of affected tissue and send it off to the dermatopathologist for testing) even if the rash is not raised. It is very simple to do-one small injection to locally numb the area and then patient feels no pain. The cause of pityriasis rosea is unknown, but the rash is not dangerous. Good luck and let us know
