"It's really up to Judge (Tom) Head to do the right thing and resign and stop embarrassing Lubbock County," said Kenny Ketner, who became the county Democratic Party's chief Monday. "I wish we were getting worldwide attention for something better than a crazy county judge," Ketner told CNN. "But what are you going to do?" There is no recall process for Head's off

I would hope that Mason and Melissa would run again. But whoever runs must have the voters support, financially and at the polls. Political party should have no bearing in the next election, just the integrity and trustworthiness of the candidates. We know that Heath and Braddock have none.

Tuesday, August 21 will be my 15th anniversary of a massive heart attack. My doctor told me I would be dead within 5 years. 6 months later, I was advised to not lift any weight heavier than 10 pounds or I would have another heart attack. I then received a quadruple bi-pass operation. The heart surgeon said "This man can die at any time." 5 years later I received a double bi-pass operation with the doctor saying "You are going to die." In May of 2011 I was informed that I had throat cancer and I was going to die. To tell the truth, the first time was devastating. I called my children in a

The Library at Marietta has several books that give a look at the day to day lives of soldiers and the battles they fought in. One is 'Co. A, 40th Regiment' located in the Archives Section. Our local Dallas Library has a series of books that list every Confederate soldier and their unit in the Archives Section.
