Thank you! Its not so much the itching that bugs me, its the irritation of having it to begin with, and the worry of it spreading. I feel worse for the kids than myself. They have to sit in school all day. I'm at work, but I can keep putting stuff on it. I did cover them in stuff this morning, so I hope their day is okay.

Even after you have it? I got it on Saturday, and didnt know until Monday.

Thank you!

Thank you everyone! NC-17, thank you for your offers! I do have some nasal spray, and will try that. I think I have Benadryl too, but I dont like the way it makes me feel, especially at work! I havnt lost much sleep from being itchy, so thats good. You are right about the bleach, I guess thats not an option. I was reading online, and many people are saying to wash in dishwashing soap because its designed to remove oils. Thanks again everyone.

Do you think it would dry it out though??? I'm really willing to take an extreme amount of pain to help get rid of it. I dont really have the money to go to the doctors...and 3 of us have it. If anyone went, it would be my son. He has some on his legs, but its not real bad yet and we have been keeping it covered in the medicine.

Thank you...I will try bleach even though it is already blistered. What a cruel joke. LOL!

Ugh!! I have poison ivy on my forearms and elbow. I have been using a poison ivy treatment similar to calamine lotion, but it keeps rubbing off--and I just want it gone!!! Does anyone have any good tricks??

I saw my first one Saturday...they are so pretty!

I've noticed tip jars at the check-out counter for Chinese Buffet. Why?? I tip on the credit card receipt, or to the person who takes care of my table. Am I expected to give a tip for the cashier as well??? I dont mind tips in some circumstances, but I would rather hand someone a tip, rather than seeing the jar. Of course, some people may shy away from tipping if there is no jar, out of fear the tip may be taken wrong. From a donation standpoint--Take for instance, the Shriners. I donate every time I have cash when they are at an intersection because I know they do good deeds...an

This is great! So true! I will be making my children read it tonight....heck, I may just make them read it EVERY night!!!

I wonder if they solved the strawberry conspiracy! LOL BTW-it may not be too late to mow--If I was up that late partying, I would be asleep for a week.

I agree with training but it doesn't always work. I think just the fact that you reacted immediately says a lot. Who would call animal control when the owners are present? Unless of course the dog has bitten or is threatening.

This sounds like a conspiracy to me!

I havnt seen any, but I left for 4 days, and when I got home my feeder was empty. It probably evaporated, but I'm really excited to see them.

At least the impact would be less to your vehicle than with a car. Really, I dont think that its because they are that much closer than a car would be, its just that people naturally get nervous with bikes around. I ride, and get nervous sometimes when they are nearby. Maybe they sit close to the bumper at a light, hoping the car behind them will at least see the car in front and stop without running them over. Everytime I'm at a light I have a car on my bumper. The person in back has the control of the space. Just drive normal, and keep a safe distance from the car in front of you

Exactly. At least they could have done is keep the "grunting" to themselves. I would complain just to make sure the people involved knew it was wrong, and hopefully it prevents another family from having to witness it. Its probably not something that needs to be brought up to the immediate family (if they havnt said anything about it), but a call to the responsible people would be sufficient. Theres no sense in causing more grief for the loved ones.

I remember reading about this a while back. It was pretty interesting, and I had thought he was just hiding.

Try honey, I just looked it up a while back for a friend. I guess you put the honey on, and bandage it.

Really? I guess I'm a little slow, LOL! I've still been wearing my jacket outside until yesterday..and still in the mornings.

My 10 year old is mad at me right now because I said it was too early to wear shorts.

I will be sure to put on my shades!

This weather is so great, and I'm at work. I can hardly concentrate...major anxiety! I really want to be outside...maybe a motorcycle ride with the old man (LOL). Pcom seems slow, so I'm guessing many are out enjoying it. Have a great afternoon!!
