I'd know. He would tell me. He's an open book. If he didn't tell me, I wouldn't want to know.

Isn't the state bird of Alaska the mosquito?
-
Apparently not everywhere. Some places they do. Where we're moving, they do.

No, he/she/it was talking about the state to our south. It's in the article.

Yo, dudette. Florida is not a province. Thank God where we're moving is a mosquito spray zone. I just hope there are people there who know that Florida is a state. And it just pisses them off, too. I'll leave a trail as far as I-10. You're on your own after that.

Continuation of the I am frustrated with my neighbors

That's why the police refused to arrest my husband and had the roommate do a citizens arrest and then they took him into custody. They DID see what was going on. Unfortunately, we didn't see the puncture marks until the next day. That explained why my husband only knew that he had defended himself but didn't know actually what went on. It's a long story. -

The roommate was the one guilty and yet called the police, much like the person whose dogs poop in the the OPs yard yet she was the one to call the cops. You know, dumb people calling the cops. -

Dumb people call the police all the time. Years ago my husband's former roommate came to visit. Somehow they got into an altercation of some sort. The roommate was something like six feet eight inches tall and weighed probably close to 350 pounds. My husband is 6 feet and weighed around 200, maybe even less. Anyway, my husband in defending himself, grabbed and broke the former roommate's necklace. The roommate called the cops and my husband was charged with battery and criminal damage to property. On the plus side, the cops sort of knew my husband and when they took a look at the f -
That was what I was wanting to know! Thank you!!

At the top right hand corner where your name is, click on it, then click "my settings". The button to change to DST should be on top. Click on "currently in DST" and then scroll down to the bottom to save it and you're done!

Two cars will go to Florida with us and will be titled and tagged there. We NEED the third vehicle HERE until we finish moving but won't need it when we get there. We won't tag or title it in Florida. We will sell it HERE, probably not to our daughter since she doesn't need a second car (her husband walks to work). My question is this: if we title and tag the two cars in Florida that we are taking with us, does that cancel the registration/title/tag on the one we're leaving here BEFORE we can sell it? We will need it UNTIL we move but not after. Until we sell this house, we still h

Looks like to keep things simple we need to sell the truck to someone who won't mind letting us borrow it until we get moved. Who would have thought it was so complicated to have two cars at one house and one car at another?

We haven't trusted safe deposit boxes at banks since valuables turned up missing from ours. We now have a fire safe that we have control over and check on a regular basis.

That's interesting because my daughter's father in law left a van here for my daughter and son in law to use. Used their address even and gave them a written notice of permission to use the vehicle. Somehow, even though the title was still in Georgia, as was the van, when he transferred his truck to Texas, it cancelled the van registration in Georgia. He said he only changed the truck and never even mentioned the van when he went to transfer the truck. He was stunned that the registration on the vehicle they had, which he was still paying insurance on and paying tag and tax on, had been ca

We just want to know if we title the other vehicles in Florida, does that cancel the title of the one that's still HERE.

If anyone knows the answer to this, I would appreciate the knowledge. I just can't find the answer anywhere and believe me, I have looked for it. I guess it's one of those one in a million questions. We have three vehicles. All three are in my husband's name. We only plan to take two to Florida with us and leave the third one here to use while we're in the process of moving and for the use of our daughter if she needs or wants to use it. We HOPE to be moved by the end of May. My husband's birthday is at the end of June. We will need to tag the cars in Florida within 30 days of movin

Fire safe. No jewelry kept in there and no money. That's just where the valuable papers are kept.

OMG!! I am wiping tears from my eyes. This is hilarious! And disturbing true.

It's not so much that the smaller firms don't want to be proactive. Many of them simply don't have the money to do it, even if it's "fairly cheap". Cheap is a relative term. What's cheap when you're making $50,000 profit a year in your business isn't cheap when you're making $500 profit a year in your business. They knew what they wanted, knew how to get it. I'd be willing to bet my life that it wasn't a bunch of kids who broke in and stole a computer or two. Also I'd be wiling to bet my life that it wasn't someone just looking for something they could resell to finance a drug habit

so what's the hold up?

3 cans tuna, drained (I use the chunk white when I can get it on sale) 2 cans of your favorite cream soup--mushroom, chicken, broccoli, whatever you want 1/3 cup mayo chopped onion or carrots if you want it. croutons Mix together everything but the croutons. Pour into 2 qt casserole. Top with croutons. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 35-40 minutes at 350. Remove aluminum foil and bake another 5-10 minutes. You can also substitute stuffing mix (like the Pepperidge Farm herb flavor) or crushed potato chips if you don't like the croutons.

Ultimately the IRS. If they are CPAs, they answer to the state as well. I personally feel that it wasn't an amateur who did it. It had to be someone who knew how to access the information and who knew how to file the returns. While it isn't rocket science, it can be tricky if you don't know what you're doing. Most small firms are their own IT department or they have a computer person they can trust. They generally don't have IT guys sitting around.

did you ever find out what was incorrect? If it was an account number for your direct deposit, it will take several weeks to process that and have them send out a paper check. If it was a Social Security number or a birthdate mismatch, you'll need to correct the information with the SSA first and then correct it with the IRS for the return. OR resubmit the return with the mismatched information to match the SSA. Have you had problems in the past? Sometimes the same people have problems year after year.
