  1. U.S. citizens? No. Mexicans here on work visas, get 'em outa here. Illegals? Sentence them to five years of free labor picking vegetables and then deport them. If something drastic is not done soon there isn't going to be an America to be better than anything.
  2. Couldn't care less. Those of us in the commercial construction industry that have worked hard to maintain our quality and reputation only to get hammered on bid day by some low life operation using Hispanic labor are fed up.
  3. Did you vote on the school bond, fire tax, green space? You can thank the Board of Education and the Board of Commissioners for your out of control escrow. Oh, and I forgot to mention the dumb masses that voted for these things. The bad news is it is going to get worse. Wait until we have to start paying for the new and unnecessary courthouse this year.
  4. You know what? F 'em. Right now we need to be circling the wagons and worrying about making better lives for AMERICANS. I wouldn't care if we started deporting all of them.
  5. That's cool. Now find a place for Smoltz and Glavine.
  6. Let's just say that I was at a gullible age and I bought that CONTRACT ON AMERICA BS hook, line and sinker. But the good part is I learned that a politician is a politician regardless of the button they wear on their lapel.
  7. I read where N585JC is owned by Hilton Hotels. Ouch, hate to be the insurer on that Gufstream.
  8. I'm just glad it wasn't at the Air and Space Museum.
  9. Better yet, does Professor Powell live in the 19th District and would he be interested in a job as state representative?
  10. If you're leaving early enough to get there by 7:00 AM I-20 to the connector would be the best way. Except for those days when there is a big wreck you can be from Thornton Road and I-20 to the Clairmont exit in about 20 minutes. There are quite a few alternate routes to get there on the wreck days too. Beats the heck out of going to Buckhead or Alpha-freakin-retta.
  11. The Colts have two horseshoes on their helmet and one up their @$$. The Saints knocked the one out of their @$$.
  12. I didn't really care until I saw the Saints were playing to win. I liked the way they went all in by going for the TD, the onside kick and the two point conversion. Even when the gambles didn't work they kept getting after it. I thought the interception showed a bit of overconfidence on the part of Peyton and overconfidence is what cost them the game.
  13. Gray Flannel, Baron and believe it or not Gillette Cool Wave.
  14. Different kind of grass man. BTW, you can take any kind of ribeye (whole ribeye), wrap it in cheese cloth and put it in a 35 degree refrigerator for ten days, change the cheese cloth about every three days, and you'll have the best steak you have ever tried. Check out Guy Fieri dry aged ribeyes: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/guy-fieri/dry-aged-rib-eyes-recipe/index.html
  15. I always wonder how one knows this. Don't you know you will go to hell for this one?
  16. Greased Lightening will not destroy the fabric like chlorine products will.
  17. They are open. Ate there last night.
  18. Grass fed has a little hint of gamey taste which I like. But corn fed puts a lot of fat in the meat and fat is where the flavor comes from. I like both.
  19. Okay. We might have been separated at birth. I thought I was the only one that took photos of my pick up. I'm kind of partial to red ones as well.
  20. And they are still better than Jerry Shearin and his bunch. That's really sad isn't it?
  21. I didn't try to read any minds. Read what I said more carefully. And I haven't said anything untrue about anyone. Geez, I think Mr. Curl is probably a great guy. As I have previously stated, he and I were on opposite sides of the school bond (and still are) and I would not vote for him for any office because of his position on that issue. I am sure we needed SCHOOLS. We just didn't need the property owners to be forced to pay for them alone. There were other avenues that were just a little more difficult and time consuming than the bond, that would have shared the cost with ALL the c
  22. Elected officials need to know that some of their decisions will stick with them for the rest of their political careers. I see the school bond as a bad AND expensive decision. Things always have a way of finding their own level and the school situation would have as well. What Cousins and his buddies wanted was some schools built on the north side of the county to enhance the value of their developments at the property owners expense. Everyone involved KNEW that was why the were getting so much support from the builders and developers. Now I'm not saying this is why everyone was on
  23. I prefer to remember it the way it actually happened. Thanks anyway.
