One that was "totalled" on the pad at the Hiram station wound up in North Carolina. One that a famous tv heli pilot refused to fly from McCollum wound up in the midwest. From what I have been told by a reliable source is that both of these crashed killing both crews.

Go to Rome on Google Maps and follow the Coosa River to the southwest. You'll see the lock and dam area. Allatoona is one of my favorite places to fish in the fall and winter.

Yeah, that's the lock and dam. In the spring when the white bass and stripers / hybrid run up the river that is a hot spot. I'm not sure about other times of the year. Check the days before making the trip out to Rocky Mountain. Seems like they only allow fishing on certain days.

I agree 100%. BUT, we could have built the same building for less money had the design been competitively bid to an architectural firm and the construction awarded to a general contractor through a typical bidding process.

I am more concerned with the relationship between the county (BOE and BOC) and The Facilities Group. I feel that a lot was swept under the rug. I would say they wouldn't have to complain very long since PUJ is 5,500 feet and a 717 requires 7,600 feet. About one landing 2,100 feet into the woods should be about all it takes. Going to Allatoona for the first time and fishing from the bank (I am assuming) is going to be some tough fishing at best. Even the average tournament fisherman can have a tough time on Allatoona during the summer months (that's a nice way of saying it sucks in the summer). Check these out and see if they are open during the time you are looking. I agree with most of what you are saying. The only exception I have is that this law has received quite a bit of attention and if passed, young people will know that texting (specifically) is illegal. And while there will still be texting while driving, the law (in my opinion) will save a few lives. I'll put up with being hassled by a few Podunk PDs if it means a couple of teenager's lives are spared. just my opinion
