Ralph Roberson, Roberson painting, Dallas. He pressure washed and stained my huge fence last year and it still looks GREAT! I'll PM you his number because Non commerce members phone numbers cannot be posted on PCom.

I found this link Georgia Secretary of State election results for Paulding but it hasn't listed any results yet. But for Cobb the same site has almost 75% of precincts reporting. What gives?

Has anyone ever had a potato explode? Does that happen? I always stab them with a fork first, throw in the microwave for a minute or two and then finish in the oven slathered in EVOO and salt. Microwave makes the ends chewy if I cook them entirely in the microwave.

Cobb Voters...don't forget to VOTE TUESDAY!

I don't think ol' Chairman Lee will dare vote to raise Cobb property taxes again anytime soon. It was the first time in 20 years for a tax increase, but he almost lost re-election because of his last vote and the 2011 SPLOST vote. -
The merchant across from Stars and Strikes lost a sale on Sunday because of this backwards law. He said that it's hurting him a lot because everyone just goes on by to Hiram. Why would anyone want to own a business in a city that is anti-business?

Cobb Voters...don't forget to VOTE TUESDAY!

When I went to vote in Cobb today one of the election workers was talking about how long his wife has worked for the school system. He said, "so I know why everyone should vote, 'yes'". WTF? I believe this ESPLOST was solely for those who were told to vote "yes". -

Not to mention it cost the county $300,000 when they could have done it with the last election. -

Cobb is fairly fiscally responsible compared to it's neighboring counties. I'm very thankful for this. But it's important for those in the local government to know that they are being held accountable when their spending gets out of control. I think Paulding needs to do this more often. -

That's what I always thought too.

If you are a Cobb voter, don't forget to VOTE today, March 19th! "Cobb County residents will vote Tuesday on whether to renew a 1 percent special purpose local option sales tax, or SPLOST, which is expected to bring $773 million to the Cobb and city of Marietta school districts over five years. With the money, the Cobb County School District would complete hundreds of projects, including repairing or replacing dilapidated buildings and athletic facilities and constructing a $29 million college and career academy. Marietta’s school board is asking for $55 million to retire debt, ren

We don't have a mortgage on our rental home. We charge market value for the rent. I don't feel greedy one bit because our tenant actually gets a heck of a deal. If they are good tenants and pay on time, they get the month of December free. I don't think that's too greedy. Edited to add: I do see where the greed comes in though. There's a house near our rental that has been Section 8 for years. The owners never did jack crap to the house and charged $600 more than we charge. THAT pissed me off because they were acting like slumlords. And now after taking the tax payer money, th

DEFINITELY call Ralph Roberson at Roberson painting in Dallas! We have used him multiple, multiple times on two different houses. I will never go to anyone else!

It's not easy waiting at home for loved one's. I know it pales in comparison to what they are doing over there but it sure as hell isn't easy. The worst part was when they go into "River City" so no phone calls or emails until all are notified. Ugh, makes my stomach hurt thinking back. Safe travels for your nephew! And definitely, stop with the news. -
Bike shorts?!? Was your Speedo in the laundry? I'm OK with myself. I'm a female, mid 30's and 105 pounds. But I just started to feel "flabby" and things are a changin'. I walk 4-6 miles a day but need to change it up.

Nice! I'm partaking in a Chilean Carmenere Reserva at the moment. Otherwise I might take you up on your offer

Awesome! Thank you. Looks like I've got some tasting to do

I've read this a few times but have never been able to find good wines from GA. Can you point me in the right direction? I love Cabs and Chianti and can't stand sweet wines.

I always look at MLS photos partly because I'm nosy but also because I'm listing my house next month (too bad I'm in Cobb). I love to learn from them. These are funny http://badmlsphotos.com http://hookedonhouses.net/bad-mls-photos/ ETA: I can't stop laughing at some of those pics. Literally, laughing out loud. People are dumb. -

I'd take the bad wide angle lens photos over the people that feel it's perfectly OK to post photos with dirty underwear on the floor and garbage everywhere. Or pictures with the TV on, pets in photos and photos with the realtor/owners in the shots. WTH are the agents thinking?!? -

Just recently I have noticed that some of the realtor's site have started listing the square footage. I always use this site http://www.realty4atlanta.com/mls-search/mls/ -
Hope you can get in to see one soon. It took me quite awhile to find one that took my insurance who wasn't booked for the next two months. I finally found a new doctor at Wellstar Rheumatology, Dr. Siddhanthi. I've only seen her once so far but I liked her.
-
I have no idea why but it's damn near impossible to get an appointment with a Rheumatologist in this area. I got lucky and found one that was brand new so her schedule was not yet booked up months in advance.

congratulations!
