  1. Just one of the many reasons I am a "movie" kind of guy. I vaguely remember commercials at this point.

    laid off

I feel ya!!! Just hang in there, and don't hesitate to buzz up one of us pcommers....we take care of our own. Dealing with a lay-off sucks bad....just remember you have friends, and you should always reach out to them when you need them. That's the only thing that got me through the initial trauma of it all. Just don't let it get you down too far before you reach out to those friends!!! Hang tough, pal!
  3. Thank you!!! I feel much better now, although my wife still thinks I'm off my rocker! (She could STILL be right though).

I can believe that! Thanks buddy. It was nice (as always) seeing you again. I had almost as much fun as LPPT did.....(almost!)
  7. Yes...yes, and yes. I seem to be the only one who understands me, ergo, I interrogate myself on a regular basis. It works for me, just fine!!!!
  8. You were GREAT company, as always!!

  12. I would like to offer one word of caution....check your allergy meds and make sure you KNOW if they contain steroidal elements. I was taking Flonase or something like that for a while...worked wonders, but when I was good enough to quit it, I realized what the steroid withdrawals are.....pay close attention here!! Whether is be corticosteroids or steroids, the after effect is the same. Any type of this medication will take the place of the "trigger" in your adrenaline glands, that throws the immune system into full effect, when something is amiss. If you have been taking this med type alle
  13. I can certainly repair your mower, but I also have mowers that are probably twice as good as the one that died on you for the same it would cost to fix yours....or if you really love your own mower, I would be happy to get her back in top shape for you. Either way, you win!! I am taking tomorrow off, for the most part, but still feel free to call me if you want to drop anything off. I just need some rest tomorrow, because Saturdays are HECTIC!!! Thanks folks!! I look forward to serving you, and providing you with the BEST service you'll find anywhere for the lowest prices. Glenn
  14. The only thing I can think of that I would call splurging on would be when one of my girls wants something. I can't remember the last time I ever splurged on myself. I'm a pretty satisfied man, when it comes down to it. However, I am picky about certain things like QUALITY, as in toilet paper, and paper towels. That's about it. But that's not splurging....that's just a matter of getting what you pay for.
  15. Great points. People who REALLY need it, have to deal with the stigma that comes with a-holes out there who are strung out on it for shear recreation. But as you read some of these posts, you can find people who are in good health, who don't need any pain meds. Unfortunately, they tend to be the first ones to not only point fingers at those who do, but also advocate making EVERYTHING illegal. Those are the people I worry about more than the addicts. There's one fact in life regarding this- addicts will either kick their habits or they will die from it. But people who have never had to walk in
  16. How can anyone consider that ridiculous? Advocating legalizing a rather benign drug (pot) while liquor is legal?? And I'm not just talking about the effect (which I still stand firmly by, in the difference in which one elevates violence while the other quells it).....but also the fact of taxing it so that pot smokers will be paying into the coffers. Ridiculous???? You'd have to explain to me how so. You even said it yourself- pot won't have the same effect on Billy Bob beating up his old lady...???
  17. All different styles, just come on by and pick out what you'd like to own. All are in great shape, and priced to buy!! Glenn 678-315-8794

    O.M.G.

You, mam, are a troll!!! And I want to know which bridge you are living under, because I am out of Pork N Beans....but I have a nice bottle of wine......we can work out a trade, ya think?? oh yeah...I also have some "used" tissues that have dried out since then, for that sniffle you've got! ok....that didn't read right, upon proofing...I guess I just now let the pcom world know that since I blow my nose with paper towels...they are resilient, so I let them dry out and blow my nose a second time...possibly s 3rd time. I can't use tissue paper, as my nose blowing is approx. 4
  20. You're always allowed to quit when you want. But consider what you bring to the table...you could possibly save someone's life. Don't fold so quickly! I know it can seem like a futile effort, but you'd be surprised. Your comments can make a difference in people's lives. You may not see it for yourself, but trust me. Don't let frustration get you down. If you are adamant about something, then it's almost an obligation to take it as far as you can.
  21. It's very simple really....if you chose to live in communism, you could become a "party" member.... it came with many perks. Being a "party" member gave you special status, rank, etc. Given the degradation of the freedoms our own country once had, can you name many differences? And before you say something like "you could own your own land"....think about how much land the BANKS in our country own through foreclosures. You never actually owned a damned thing here, unless you have paid it off in full, and then you are still liable for property taxes, insurance, etc. In America, there used t
  22. Not at all...I have seen it myself. Some people will steal, and even kill to get their hands on this crap. My heart goes out as well to the victims of those who have been subjected to such things....being ripped off, etc. It's a bad situation, indeed, and I can only refer to my post about making pot legal...I just know too many people who would rather have pot for their ailments...only POT is ILLEGAL. This is a recipe for chaos, theft, and mistrust by people who would not normally do such a thing. It's an addiction....much like heroin, or any opiate. Pot does not carry such an addiction.
  23. Thus, my point. However, a lot of pain meds do not require such scrutiny. I think that's what some posters are referring to.
  24. I guess it depends on the meds you are getting...my Rx's must be picked up at the Dr's office, I have to sign them (every single month). There are so many barriers in place it's incredible. Only my meds are not pain related. Maybe that's the difference?? I'm starting to think that pain meds must be a different animal than what I have to take....because my meds have to have a DEA# and must be hand picked from the office, signed, etc. on a monthly basis.
  25. In all honesty, no , I haven't read the links. I just know what I know, and that's that the Rx KNOWS what's been called in, and what they can do according to the law. Experience is experience. When they say NO....wait until so & so date....well that speaks volumes, wouldn't you think? Should you want to talk any further on the subject, maybe you should PM me, lest you open a loophole for other people....know what I mean? If there's some sort of loop hole I am missing, i would rather it not be in this open forum...for the sake of people who may be looking for such a thing.
