First of all, I currently use Gas South, and my bill has been extremely high for this time of year. Compared with prior years around this season, basically the price has doubled for this year. I'm looking for answers as to who charges the least, and also wanted to know if anyone has ever switched over to propane, and what's involved in changing to propane. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I'm in Hiram, so if you'll call me when you are over this way I'll see if I can pick it up, unless you want to drop it off. 678-315-8794

Wow!!! Bizz has slowed to a crawl. I need some mowers to repair!!
-
Fickle, crazy women who wouldn't know a good man if he bit them on their ass!!

Wow! No one wants this fine little machine?? All that heat, and you don't have to push it!! But it still cuts as nice as your best push mower. If I was to lower it to $475 with free delivery do yall know ANYONE ELSE who might be interested? Shoot em my number. I gotta get it sold so I can get some more built....but I don't want to just "give it away"...I'd like to at least get my money's worth out of it...nothing more.

Reconditioned Snapper Riding mower. Features 8 HP Briggs engine just filled with high-tech very expensive synthetic oil. This mower has been basically rebuilt WAY more than I thought it would need to be. But Snappers are worth that. Most Snapper (rear engine designs) will outlast any tractor type by a couple of decades or more. They will turn on a dime, easy to handle, and the center of gravity is low to the ground on these, making them harder to tip over on steep slopes (ALWAYS READ YOUR MANUAL OR INSTRUCTIONS I PROVIDE WITH USED MOWERS!!) Very nice riding mower..26" cut for smaller, but

CAll Paulding County and ask for the erosion control department. THey can point you in the right direction. Being aware of yard grading, I took my measure into place RIGHT after the grading was done...withing 48 hours for everything. I used X-ties I already had, and immediately grassed the lower lying area that would pool. This makes a good fescue grow FAST.

Depends on the conditions...if pre-existing, there's not sqaut that can be done. If his land was recently graded and vegetation has not taken hold yet, then yes....but if that's the case, simply recommend to him to either instal silt fence, or cross ties...I used X-ties and they were perfect. In short, talk to your neighbor and offer these methods. They are relatively cheap. Again, if this was a problem existing, then there's nothing you can do.

Thanks PSD. We do our best to please folks, and tackle some things that other shops won't touch (and sometimes, I don't blame them!! ) This season has been an anomaly though. Business has been dreadfully slow for the past 3 weeks. Armed with a list of 25 people who wanted riding mowers, no one has bought one (few even returned my calls). This has been probably the worst season since I began this 7 years ago, and I have no clue as to why. I can only hang on another month or two, then I'll have to go into something else if this doesn't pick up. That's a shame too!! We serviced a riding mower

And yes, we also service all 2-stroke machines too...weed eaters, edgers, tillers, generators, blowers, anything you have to mix oil with gas in.

Give us a call at 678-315-8794. Most jobs are small enough to handle onsite. Pick up and delivery is available for more extensive repairs, so you're covered either way. Please visit our website at: http://glennsmowerrepairs.webs.com/ Thank you~ Glenn

More than a few people have called wanting to know if my service extends beyond just lawn mowers, i.e. weed eaters and 2-cycle engine machines (the ones you mix oil and gas with)...YES...we work on these too. Probably more knowledgeable than most I know on the subject, as these can be very touchy engines to deal with. I have well over 7 years of technical experience on repairing these machines. So, please don't hesitate to call if I can be of help to you. My rates on 2 cycle machines are pretty straight forward- $15 to assess the machine, which is factored into the final price should you choos

Is this irresponsible or just the way of the world?

I agree, whole-heartedly! However, I can understand how instant comm's have stunned some folks....it is really overwhelming, given what it was just a decade ago. "The way of the world...." ..to me anyway.) -
I'm so glad the rain finally hit!!! Now, just waiting for the phones to ring. Got any broken mowers, edgers, trimmers, etc.????

 Perhaps, about 5 years ago. D'ville and Cobb Co. are about the only thing you'll find. Spotlight Salon used to be the best place there was....now, the Phoenix is nice as long as it's not tournament night....same goes for Hiram Station. I shot stick here for a few years until the economy busted and Paulding lost most of its night life.

I don't have a garden, but it IS my life blood!!

Like another poster said....it's just forms. If it pisses you off that much, then fill them out. OR....you could offer to load that TV up, as it contains MONEY...parts that sell for quite a bit. You could part that thing out, have it out of your way and make money from it. But that's just me. Hell, I could probably REPAIR the dang thing and make a LOT of money. But again, that's just a handy man's way of thinking. Me and a LOT of my friends over my years moved out here because we got tired of Cobb's strict codes. While no one wants a garbage dump next to their house, at least in Paulding w

I have a list of about 27 people wanting riding mowers from us. Since I do not have enough money to go around and buy up over a thousand dollars worth of mowers, I am offering this as a special deal. It works like this: You tell me what you'd prefer in a riding mower, then make a deposit to secure the mower. I then take the deposit money to find the mower you want, rebuild it so it's in tip top shape, then when its ready (about 3-4 days time) you simply pay the balance and the mower is yours. You will be given a promissory note based on your deposit, so everything is legal and you are cove
