Still seems that up to 75-80% of my calls have been people on the prowl for rebuilt or used mowers and other items, similar in nature. Due to very few people calling with junkers, I have NO mowers for sale... However, I have went out on my rounds and inspected several mowers who the owners were done with and wanted to buy a new one, only to find that I could get them back in the grass for around $150 on riders ($250 max) and getting their push mowers back to work for less than $100, often around 75. Folks, please consider this. I am flattered that so many trust my "used and rebuilt" mowers

Good point. I've been through all that crap with my own two girls....the navel rings, and other things that I try to tell them what that means to a young man. All I can do is inform them, and hope for the best, since they are grown women....still doesn't mean dad's gonna quit being a pain in the ass about such things. I'll just keep on being the fuddy-duddy I am and they can deal with it. I'm so fortunate to be a musician, because it gives me leverage where I would not otherwise have had any. But make no mistake...there's not a day goes by when I don't worry about them, and how other guys see

I always here if you need me.

I was entirely too busy at the time to think about all of that. And it's not like it's an uncommon thing to be asked for money, etc. when I go there...which I loathe.

Good for you! Funny how that information can sit dormant for so long, then when you think you'll never use it, bingo!! And there it is~ Just shows you're NEVER too old for anything.

I hate going to that location. Last time I had to go there, a teenage girl stopped me on the way out and asked me for drugs. WTH??? Seems like I run into panhandlers there a lot, but I was aghast at a young girl asking me (and I'm sure whoever else came along) for drugs. Unfikkinbelievable! I usually go out of my way the extra few miles to the Wallyworld at East Paulding...much nicer, and worth the extra driving time.

You could also call it money laundering. Anyone with good sense see any different?? Just asking. I just call the colors as they lie. Off-shore corps, et. al.

That's true. I have seen too many of these up close and personal, turn on a dime. Oddly, the owners always try to excuse the behavior. One has been sued twice, but still defends his dog. He lost both times and had to pay a fine. Luckily no one was killed.

I read this on yahoo news this morning...just caught the headline glance then clicked here....dang. I thought I was just trippin' on my coffee! The Possum is gone, and I don't feel so good myself now. RIP, George. I always considered HIM the country music icon for generations.

You are right....and this has been this way for quite a while. Credit is a joke, and even if you file for bankruptcy, your credit can be back up to 100% in almost a year. (not 7 years like it used to be). Doug, you are very smart!!! Kudos to you!

I found the BEST drug of them all!! NOT dating women!! Now I am FREEE.....free, I tell ya! Okay...so dating is okay, as long as I provide a bogus phone number and erroneous address.

Not at the moment...just one I'm trying to get right that is a donation mower. But I post them as they become available, so keep your eyes peeled. My list of people looking for used equipment has gotten so big I can't keep track anymore so I'm just posting as they get done and ready to sale. -
My only hope is that it brings things home, so to speak...let us think on those things that matter and may perish before us, lest we forget why WE are here.

NO offense, but... BUNCH OF DAMNED REEFER HEADS!!! OMG, HOW I HATE TO CARRY ON A CONVERSATION WITH A POT HEAD!! Sorry...that's just me. I'm too old for that crap anymore.

Ask yourself...when's the last time you told your kids you love them? Your spouse??? Your parents?? You get the idea....spread that love this weekend and let them know....that YOU love them.

on the bus was SCREAMING??? I lost two dear friends this week to cancer...they were my age. All I can feel is happiness while I am here. I know all too well my time may be up any minute, as I approach 48....that's 68 in musician's years. Just a reminder that life IS indeed short....we should milk it by making amends, and considering ourselves lucky to have made it this far in a life we never thought would exist.....whether we like it or not. Embrace your loved ones and embrace your neighbors. There is so much to be thankful for in times likes these....no matter how they impact us, initi

It will always be considered a blessing to me that they do like being here a lot. That was a sweet thing to say, and probably made my night. Thank you!

I'm guessing a demographics thing here....????? I guess in all fairness, I should say the ONLY way I could afford to move out here is because I sold my first house in Marietta for TWICE its value. It came around, then gone around.
