My day was LOVELY once I got back HOME, outa my car and embraced those things I love so much...the kids, home, fixing them old greasy mowers. I just happened to pop in on that last post right getting home. Venting is good for the soul~~ One more day and I'm at a nice cabin in Blue Ridge with my girl!! Life is good....but that still doesn't change what awaits me when I get back, unfortunately. God Bless!! Subby is OUTA HERE till next Tuesday!! Yayyyyy!!!!! p.s. Business will resume in my absence, as my secretary and no. 1 helper will be holding down the fort while I am away.

I couldn't be that lucky. I would cater the party outa pocket if I knew it was!

Oh Lord!! Don't get me started....I'm am beside myself in what has evolved into nothing less than RAGE today. When I finally found a station that had gas, I get the pleasure of listening to patrons in front of me BS'ing about what kind of damned beans they cooked for dinner, their GF's constipation problems, and generally their life story while the line is to the back of the store! I calculated that I spent OVER AN EXTRA HOUR today doing what would normally take a half hour, total to do in a sane world. I also noticed ONE single driver use his turn signal!! (God forbid anyone should EVER use t

I've been on road calls the past two days and I thought it was just me until I saw this thread. Several places are out around town.

Pardon me for saying so but I've had SO many years to get over her death, I couldn't really care less.... We all knew back in the day...when you're screwing the Prez, ANYTHING can happen. See "Area 51".....perhaps she's been outfitted with a new alien brain, the boobs from a Blue Whale, and the brain of Al Einstein which has been perfectly pickled in a jar, not unlike what you see on "Futurama". In any event, the "news-worthiness" of this whole thing seems trivial, at best. JMO. And I still love to read your threads, so no disrespect...just time to move on, I guess. I've also have tim

You could save a lot of money though just buying the store brand 2-cycle oil. Use regular gas (high test is NOT going to make one single thing better, folks) and save some money. Myth- Higher octane is better in small engines....nope. Just use regular. Stabilizers- work great if your machine is going to sit a lot and not be used much, otherwise don't sweat it. Use regular gas and there will be no related problems as long as the gas never ages over 60 days. But for regular use (twice a month) save your money and don't worry about it. Hint- today's newer 2-cycle oil can used at 50:1

Dunno about a "great" dude... But I'm yo man if you need 2-cycle repair. Very few shops will touch these anymore...in fact my closest competitor send those things to me. Long story, short...I studied these machines extensively for several years, primarily the ones used in those lightweight air craft that people actually fly in. I figured who better to study from than someone who's a few hundred feet in the freakin' air...they sort of rely on the engines running right, ya know! 2-stroke engines, while actually a much more simple design than 4-strokers, are much more reliant on perfect

The upper body valves are stuck, and they are not serviceable....I have several replacements ready to rock and roll. Trust me on this...been doing this for a living for a LONG time. It's about $40 to fix this, plus 5 for a primer bulb if needed. 678-315-8794

On 2-strokes, I usually advise dumping the gas in the tank, but NOT running the carb dry. The small amount of gas will evaporate and the remaining oil will actually help keep the valve membranes and diaphragm in soft pliable shape. I also advise the blue STA-BIL stabilizer too. My equipment cranks right up every year. My 24 year old gas trimmer still runs great and I've only replaced the fuel line once in all those years. On 4-stroke engines, then yes, run all the gas out before storing and if you know how, loosen the bolt on the carb bowl and drain it completely, then re-tighten.

The upper valve body is toast...bring it by and I can fix it for you. The upper body check valves on the carb are not serviceable (except for umbrella valves that rarely mess up, but I'm fairly sure I have another one... 678-315-8794 Don't feel bad....VERY FEW shops even attempt to fix 2-cycle engines. They're tricky, but I have their number.

Yes, and yes. I've got one left for sale, and I repair them all day long, as long as they're worth it. I weigh the cost effectiveness and let you know, so you're not throwing money away you don't need to. Just give me a call tomorrow anytime after 11 a.m. 678-315-8794 Glenn

Thank you. I'm glad to hear it's running well. And you probably wouldn't have been happy with a mew mower anyway....the quality's all gone these days compared to what he's got.

Thank you.

I don't think it has anything to do with respect or manners, but perhaps (God forbid we have this on our roads in GA) PERCEPTION??? When you see people pulling over all around you, doesn't it make LOGICAL sense to follow suit, since you are on a road with other people??? It amazes me that this is such a simple question and solution, yet so many are oblivious to its answer. Wow! Rather, logic just flies out the window so that ironic conjecture may have a front seat, as the topic is scrutinized for things well beyond the initial point. Wow~

They do more than that. QT is one of the more aggressive go-getters when it comes to anything suspicious. My BIL worked there for quite a while, and their security is 100% as well as their eagerness to pursue wrong doing. Terrific policy, if you ask me! Use that policy so they can get to the bottom of anything you deemed suspicious.

That's right! And I grew up with some good friends whose parents never dispensed whippings or discipline and I wouldn't be caught dead in public with them to this day. This is why I just love this guy!!! Thank you!!! And no one seems to have read my post about SEEING two people PULLED over by the cops for not stopping....I mean, HELLO??? That kinda showed me what the law is. DID YOU KNOW that in Paulding County, if you pull on the side of the road to see someone, a neighbor can call the popo and a tow truck and have you towed away??? I just found this out re

Regardless of all opinions, I will remain a Southern Gentleman. I also would recommend people heed the advice of knowing when to pull over, since (in my prior post) I DID watch people get ticketed for not having done so. Respect or not, a ticket costs money. I certainly can't afford one. AHOLES abound nationwide.
