If you don't know what the code is, you cannot possibly say it is only 2 possible things wrong. An 0420 code is different than an 0421 code is different than a 0300 code, etc but the parts store will tell you it needs a converter either way. Yes, the most common fix could be to replace the converter, but strange enough, it could also be bad gas. The delivery guy could have dumped some diesel or leaded gas in the station's tank (yes, it does happen fairly often). If it is high enough concentration, it can cause a converter code, etc

It would help to know what the actual code number is. Autozone is just going to give you the most likely cause of the code when there could be several different issues that could say it needs a "new converter" With the code number, go to the online forums & chat rooms for that year jeep wrangler and see what others have found to cause that code number. a couple of popular ones are : wranglerforum.com & jeepforum.comwranglerforum.com/forum/f113

Yes, yes, yes...People do experience symptoms related to depression, hypochondria, attention-getting, even fear.... At the same time, something might actually be wrong. (Especially, if the doctor believes that her symptoms are in her head). At minimum, keep listening to her and keep letting her know you care and are concerned. False or real -- they probably are very real to her.

I agree, same situation if the other driver is in the country illegally and has no driver license. He still pulled out in front of another driver / violated the right of way. The criminal portion has little to do with the civil issue.

I agree. Although I haven't heard if the screams have been "without a doubt" the screams from the boy. If the man had heeded the 911 operators instructions, we would have never even heard of this story. This shooting was entirely preventable and should have never happened!

It's no different than if Bubba ran me off the road, without touching me. NO PROOF. Now if all three had called the police with the same type story, they might could have gotten the police's attention, maybe. Without verifiable proof of an intent to commit a crime, the police do not have to act on your information. This also helps prevent the person with a vendetta (or a warped sense of humor) from reporting a fake crime against an innocent person. This kinda of reminds me of the movie, "Minority Report".
