  1. The harmony of The Eagles singing "Seven Bridges Road". It gets to me every time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-q7Mih69KE
  2. I was sweltering inside the house all day and didn't leave for grocery shopping until 9:30 pm! I am way too heat sensitive.
  3. If the fence is yours then the neighbor may also be concerned with cutting to close and damaging it. I sprayed the 4 month weed/grass killer against our house months ago and it has been working great. My husband has very much enjoyed not having to drag out the weed eater.
  4. Ours has been on since March and in addition to the central air I also have a portable ac unit in my bedroom. You do realize that we hit 93 degrees yesterday and will be close to that for the next 2 days?
  5. Every one of our neighbors around us have a fence. From what I have gathered from them, in Paulding county a fence should be placed at least 1 foot inside the property line. So it is possible that the 6 inches on the other side of the fence is yours.
  6. It's not unusual for a male cat to kill the kittens in order to put momma cat back into heat sooner. No, I am not kidding. Please be careful until you can get them into a safe area.
  7. Dallas Chiropractic offers both and they are a commerce member. Dallas Chiropractic info 770-445-4600
  8. Yep that is me to a T! All of my friends and family know that if you want to come over you should call first. God forbid if I am asleep and hubby is home to answer the door. He has been known to scare a couple of immediate family members for not calling and coming over while I am asleep! No, we are not mean. However, we do expect those who know us to be respectful of my illness and pain which is affected by my sleep.
  9. For anyone who needs these, they can be found near the mailboxes and mailbox numbers in Walmart. I would imagine Home Depot would also have them. I have already bought some, which is why I know.
  10. Awwww...so sweet of you to take care of them.
  11. I just posted the same story with the same link. Katcol, like minds I guess.
  12. theft by deception. (as per the WSBtv.com story) Here is the WSBtv.com link. "Sheriff: Chiropractor Stole $264K From Patients"
  13. What part of New Hope are you in? It covers a large area now. Is it a subdivision where the break ins occurred?
  14. Good morning. The chilly temps are temporary. It is just blackberry winter and it will most likely be over in 2-3 days. I cut our heat back on then in a few days I will turn it off because we should be back in the 80s within a few days. Have a great day. I am about to try and get some sleep.
  15. Cute! "I'm not gonna comb my hair... (as the monkey is pretending to pick nits out it!)"
  16. IF he could prove it. I seriously doubt he would have more than a little nausea from using a coffee creamer with a small amount of it a couple of times a day. The large amount of ipecac syrup it would take to do more than that requires a prescription. 1/2 to 1 ounce can be bought without one and at the most would induce vomiting. Just enough to make him nauseous may make him think the creamer is bad or he has a virus that maybe he caught from taking someone else's food!

  18. "Barnes shouldn't have been driving that Thunderbird, since she had been convicted the previous day for driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license. According to the arrest report, it was the sixth time her license had been suspended." "So Dunick charged Barnes with driving with a revoked license, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident with injuries and driving with no insurance."
  19. I have had vision issues since the age of 12. I have worn disposable contacts since my 20s (which I love) and the past few years I have had to start using reading glasses (which I hate). The contacts allow me to see the tv, driving and doing normal things. The reading glasses I need for anything within 2 feet of my face, such as computer work, reading, grocery shopping (looking at labels). So far I have refused to go back into glasses and I have heard that bifocal contacts may not work well with peripheal vision, which I need for driving. Can lasik work if you need bifocals and NOT effect peri
  20. Flushing unwanted medications down the toilet isn't the answer. Antibiotics will kill the natural bacteria in your septic tank that are needed to break down solid wastes. That in turn can cause some serious septic problems. Water with other medications in it, from flushing, will eventually reach a waste water treatment facility. The water treatment does NOT remove medications from the water. Therefore, treated water can contain a small amount of medications from flushing. Then people who drink the treated water are putting small amounts of medications into their body. For some sensitive people
  21. They probably did. After meeting in college they dated off/on for years and it was reported on BBCA, during the wedding, that they have been living together. I am sure that is another first for the Royal family. I remember the story coming out about Diana having to be examined by a doctor to prove that she was a virgin. To me that was absolutely ridiculous and demeaning. I am sure Diana felt embarassed.
  22. No. One of them wore the "reindeer antler" hat on the front of her forehead, NOT her head! LOL
