  1. Been there done that at the age of 19 on my Mom's basement stairs in the house I grew up in. Except as my feet slid out from under me my head bobbed back and forth as the back of it hit each wooden stair step. It probably hit 4-5 of them. My neck has never been the same since and that is also when my migraine headaches started. IF you didn't hit your head, then you could still have bruised vertebra with swelling or even have a cracked one. EITHER can cause your body to have nausea as a reaction. You need to go to a doctor or ER and have xrays performed, it would be best to do them before
  2. Try West Metro. They are a commerce member. Their info is in the link. http://www.paulding.com/forum/index.php?showuser=21410
  3. Melissa by the Allman Brothers I guess is "my song" since that is my name and it came out when I was very young and my DJ insisted on playing it at our wedding, BUT one of my alltime favorites is Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton. Other than that there are so MANY that I love and are favorites. Two are: Thunderstruck by AC/DC Kashmir by Led Zeppelin
  4. Here is the 7 day forecast for Dallas from the National Weather Service. NWS forecast for Dallas Right now it says rain Thursday-Saturday with storms on Friday.
  5. Just opt out and put a freeze on the card. It will freeze the card's rate while you are making payments BUT you can't use it without undoing the freeze and the rate will then go up. We did that with one of our cards.
  6. There I fixed it! I was vote #51 and broke the tie. I love the bad santa idea. One year I was at a halloween WEDDING. There was a SEXY Mr. & Mrs. Claus in the wedding party. Santa was dressed like Hugh Hefner with a red robe half opened, slippers and pipe. Mrs. Claus was dressed in a red lace nightie with red lace stockings and red heels, and a santa hat. The whole wedding was so dang funny. I had hair past my hips, so I made a burgundy taffeta 17th century dress and went as Rapunzel. I created hubby's costume to be Hose Quervo. I took a brightly colored Mexican blanket, cut a h
  7. LMAO! Thank you for sharing.
  8. Are you off East Paulding Dr? Your age on your profile is younger than my neighbors though. But HIYA! Dogs are barking as we speak! LOL. Edit: Oops! I just noticed that EJ was speaking to Glock and not me . So sorry, just ignore me LOL.
  9. Yeah but it will wake up all your other neighbors who ARE sleeping! I have been tempted to do this at 4am before! Now if the other neighbor's dog starts barking (german shepard) then I know something or someone is definitely out there and I turn on the lights and grab a gun (just in case) but of course I don't open the door.
  10. There is a law in Paulding and it is like 10 or 15 minutes straight. I just read it a few months ago but I can't remember the specifics. It does say to video or audio record the barking and times of barking. A particular neighbor's dog does this and it can be heck in addition to chronic insomnia. At least it is in a fence!
  11. Compounded medications are basically "mixed" by hand and yes they are expensive! I would call around and find another pharmacy that has Tamiflu in stock. I hope he feels better soon!
  12. If he is the same Blake Swafford that I went to school with here in Paulding county, then yes he would have family here.
  13. I had one very long ago on my head and neck. After 10 minutes I was shaking and sweating. They had to pull me out and let me calm down, then I went back in with a washcloth folded over my eyes and kept my eyes closed. That time I pretended that the sound of the machine was a lawnmower. Someone was mowing the grass and I was laying on the couch trying to take a nap. It worked! Good luck on yours.
  14. Any fever or headache? Those are usually the signs that it is not a cold. Saying a prayer for you to feel better very soon!
  15. Here are 2 more. My seat was only about 10 feet from this platform as it was lifting into the air.
  16. I think I have figured out a way to resize one of my Transiberian Orchestra concert pics so that I can attach it.
  17. Hubby opened up our gas furnace today and figured out it wasn't our electric ignitor but a valve to it that had become stuck, so we now have the heat on at 66. Both he and the cats are snoring and I am online. He has to leave out again tomorrow though, too soon.
  18. LOL, that's interesting! It makes me think of church and funerals. ??
  19. During the winter I like hot tea with honey and there is a hazelnut hot cocoa mix from Target's I have been buying for a few years. I will make it with milk instead of water though. The rest of the time it is water, juice or cold tea for me.
  20. I tried adding a couple of pics from the TSO concert as attachments but they were too large and I can't seem to figure out how to down size them. Here is the link to their website. They just released a new album called "Night Castle". http://www.trans-siberian.com/index-main.php Yes I understand about him loving Bob. I have listened to Bob Segar, ZZ Top, Fleetwood Mac, Aerosmith and others for most of my life. Would you believe I am also a big Nine Inch Nails fan? I also have Indian flute music, classical guitar, and I love the sound of an electric violin. Apparently I like a VERY large
  21. Transiberian Orchestra in Birmingham last December. In addition to the rock-opera type music there was an rock opera/play that went to the words in the songs. There were also multi colored lasers out over the stage and over the floor seats, huge flame bursts, fireworks inside, fog with cold jets, and even snow inside. Not foam, it was real snow. We were center floor and had all of this going on right in front of us or over us. It was so beautiful and I have a few awesome pics. I will never forget that night. Van Halen at Lakewood Amplitheatre sometime in the mid 90s. I had a great time wi
  22. I stay hot all the time, BUT since we are supposed to be in the 30s the next few nights I tried to turn on our gas heat tonight and it wouldn't start up. Hubby went to check and the electric ignitor needs replacing. So I guess he will be looking for a part tomorrow on his only day off in 2 weeks. UGH!
  23. Don't forget about the additive that was added to the pet foods and caused the recall 2 years ago. It caused alot of people to lose their pets or their pets lost their health for life. It turned out I had alot of it in the cat food in my house.
