What are you planning on fixing for Thanksgiving?
msgastorm replied to christinas19's topic in RECENT TOPICS
It will be just 4 of us at my Mom's house. But so far we are planning: Smoked turkey breast (Mom has it) Spiral sliced smoked ham (I bought from Sam's) Southern Cornbread Dressing (twice baked and everyone swears I make it just like my grandmother's.) Croissants (for Hubby) Rolls (for Stepdad) Cranberry Sauce Sides will probably be: Potato Salad or mashed potatos, sweet peas and for dessert an nice Publix chocolate cake. That should be PLENTY for 4 people! -
As far as I know there are NO homeless shelters in Paulding County at all. This is probably one of the reasons why the tents are becoming more common in this county. Also, there is no public transportation system in place to help anyone get to a job etc. So someone living in a shelter in this county really would not be able to get around in order to find a job etc.

You guys are so goofy! LOL You are welcome subby. We switched from Sear to Pate's. We have been very happy with Pate's but I will not buy a Maytag appliance ever again! Our 6 year old side by side fridge was purchased new and we have spent hundreds over that time to keep it running. Ugh, so much for the Maytag repairman being bored (commercials). Good luck Subby!

WTG Reesy! We are going to try and go that Saturday whether I win tickets or not. No children here, but I am looking forward to it. I love Christmas!

Pate's Appliance Repair in Dallas. We have switched from Sears to them and love them. Here is the link to their profile page. Pates Appliance profile link

We seen a doe on Barrett Pkwy. that almost ran in front of us tonight. Hubby says they are going into rut. Deer sex anyone?

Domestications.com They have a huge variety of bedding as sets or single item pieces. I have even seen some wildlife bedding prints with them.

We went to Red Lobster for our anniversary dinner.

We aren't into sports, unless you count hunting, fishing or online gaming as sports. LOL.

For those that don't want to cook or are too scared to cook, Publix makes a great turkey or ham dinner. They take orders ahead of time and have it ready at your pick up time. One year I did this when it was just 4 of us.

I don't have this problem with any other web site. My game sites, national weather service, even "searches" don't have this "go back" problem. So has to be specific with Paulding.com.

Pubby, For example: I am in the Internet Cafe. I click on a topic to read it, decide not to reply to it, and use my back button on my mouse or the go back button in the upper left corner of Internet Explorer intending to go back to the listing of forum topics in the Internet Cafe, but instead it pulls up a message that the webpage has expired. I never had this problem with our old format. Yes I keep my Windows Vista and IE 8 updated. So it is getting annoying that I can't use my go back button, even when I didn't post in the topic.

Yep I would have to change my answer. I think Mrs C is right. Oh well.

That's sweet and congratulations! Our 9th was yesterday.

14, 18, 20 kids and counting... Discovery Channel

It's about to be 20 kids and they just had their first grandbaby. -
Blinds are not usually cheap, especially vertical blinds. Over 11 years ago my hubby bought vertical blinds for the entire house to match our carpet (before we met) and a double window ran $450. We still have them and they still work great, although now I am looking at ceramic/porcelin tile to match them and some floors will have hardwood installed. Most of our carpet is going out. These blinds are pretty permanent though and from what I understand they will increase the value of the house.

My Mom said she does not have an orange kitten. I would try Petfinder. I found two of mine that way. Also try Petsmart.

My only complaint is that I can't use the "go back button". It gives me a "web page expired" message when I do and it is annoying as heck when I just want to go back to where I left off on the first page of the forum. UGH!

Keep an eye out on this forum: http://paulding.com/...5-animal-house/ I PM'd my Mom for you with the link to this topic. She usually has alot of outdoor farm cats around and maybe one has kittens.

My maternal grandmother use to make them from scratch and they were the best! When I say scratch I mean she bought a whole coconut, cracked it, took the inside "meat" and grated it herself!

Thank you, Dallas Chiropractic & Dallas Civic Center!

I've been a patient of Dr. Moyher's once a week for over 10 years. I love her and her staff. I was invited to today's event but wasn't feeling very well and hubby had to leave for out of town work so I would have had to go alone. I am glad it turned out great and happy anniversary Dallas Chiropractic! -
Try Lowes and look for their GE Just Cut series. They include multi or white lights and their needles look more realistic and fuller than other trees. I think Home Depot may have 1 or 2 of this brand and type, but Lowes usually has more.

Another one from just a few years ago also came from Paulding. I love the story behind this one though. -
