Sorry but New Year's resolutions just always seemed silly to me. If I wanted to make a resolution then the time of year would be irrelevant.

This is exactly what I was thinking. This type of wiring problem is a major fire and lightening hazard. If lightening strikes your home with wiring like this then I bet it will burn all of the house wiring out.

I found mine years ago online. It is carved oak and it is over 4' tall but it ran me over $400, I love it though. If you want something unique or large then I would suggest an online search. Otherwise, Kmart and Walmart usually have smaller ones in the jewelry section this time of year.

Same here. Usually it's the first or second week of January. I think it is pretty to still have them up during the New Year celebration.

Merry Christmas Subby! I just quit cooking at 10pm, so I am sure it is still quite warm in the livingroom and kitchen area.

Mistletoe can be found in the very TOP of large local hardwood trees, usually oak. The rest of the tree may be empty of leaves but in the top you can see blobs of green growing out of the branches, that is mistletoe. Usually you have to get it down by using a shotgun, seriously. Be very careful as the berries are toxic to children and pets. Next time just go buy some from Pikes Nursery LOL. Merry Christmas!

Hubby works on industrial machines that package food and drink products. In this type of industry it is sometimes REQUIRED of plant personnel to not have facial hair. Even though he doesn't work for the plants he still will keep a closely shaven face just so he will not receive any hassle from plant managers or have to wear a beard net.
