I have a meeting to attend so I won't make it. Already have my 2010 cruise booked on RCI's Jewel next Feb 12th. I hope that some others will decide that cruising is the best travel value available (unless you think a trip is setting up a lawn chair in your back yard).

I've owned many great cars. If I measure all the cars I've owned based on fun and value, this one wins hands down: 1967 Corvette Coupe, original drivetrain - 427CI/435HP; Muncie close ratio 4-speed; 4:11 posi rear. It was like driving a rocket.

We got off easier than last time - 3.5 inches here off Corner Road.

LPPT, I am very sorry for your loss. I share your tears as I lost my Dad in 2004. I was mourning for a long time. Once I accepted that he was gone, I began to focus on the good times we had together and to remember him with joy at his birthdays, wedding anniversaries and other special occasions. So, for me, focusing on happy memories chased away the tears. Maybe that will help you.

I've been on 8 cruises and the motion of the ship, even in rough waters, has never bothered me. There are some places on the ship where you are more aware of the motion than others.

My wife and I love to cruise. Your hotel moves around and drops you off at some really exciting places that you can check out without having to pay for a week's stay. Where else can you find a room, all your food and entertainment for 100 per night and less? If you do try a cruise, don't take anything less than 7 days or it will be over before you've started to relax.

We did drive to NO last year and stayed the night before at the Drury near the French Quarter. They had a cruise special at that time where your room was 99.00 and you could park free for the length of the cruise.

My wife and I went on this cruise last year. It was wonderful. If anyone has questions about N.O. or the Spirit, ask away.

Royal Caribbean - Monarch of the Seas sails out of Port Canaveral to the Bahamas (4 night) starting at $217.00 on Jan 25, 2010. NCL - Norwegian Sky sails out of Miami to the Bahamas (4 night) starting at $269.00 on Jan. 25. Carnival - Imagination sails out of Miami to Cozumel (4 night) starting at $199.00 on Jan 25. I've listed the three in my order of preference. I am no fan of Carnival although some love their ships.

What are your criteria? Once we know them, we can advise. Until then, all I can say is that we like our house and where we live and that we intend to stay here.

We love to go to Asheville and stay in a B&B. Beautiful city, lots of great restaurants and Biltmore House.

Absolutely correct. If you cash the check, you accept that amount as your final settlement. Find out the amount first and negotiate.

Not sure I understand. Court date for whom? Your daughter or the other driver? Was not the other driver charged?
