Oh no. And one of my FB friends just let us know about an hour ago that her nephew ran it today. I sure hope he is ok. My ex ran it for years; but I think he gave up marathons last year. I sure hope he isn't there today either.

I know zip about it but very, very interested. Do you know where I can get started? Thank you!

This was a lucky pic - this is my sweet granddaughter!

thank you sos for giving everyone the details. I am so thrilled; Daughter brought her basket over this week and we have pretty much cleaned it up!

We cleaned the patio table 3 times yesterday so we could use it!

As we prepped the back of the house for flower planting my granddaughter took over the leader for that part of gardening while we worked on the veggie garden. She found a snake!! Her mom picked it up, handed it to Alex who thought it was dead. Well it wasn't!! She threw it into the air screaming but very quickly picked it back up and threw it over the fence (my neighbors can thank me later) and it scurried off on it's merry little way.

Sorry if everyone already knows this but my daughter from Kennesaw has been taking advantage of this for over a year. It has a one-time fee of $10 to join. Baskets run the gammit on prices. But found out they have pick up points in Douglasville and Dallas. I think it is Farmersmarket.com. A great value. Welcome to Farmers Market Baskets! We are a family and volunteer run fruit & veggie co-op service. You can get a basketful of fresh fruits and vegetables year round at an affordable price, so you can eat healthy…affordably. Enjoy the health and money-saving benefits of bel

LMAO - so true. I had to dust off the inhaler today! I could taste it in my throat; had a sore throat and gagging (sorry, this TMI).

Driving today and guess I got some pollen in my rt eye; watering and crying; lol i hosed down my patio two days in a row and covered up again today. Hope the storms are not too bAD. I might have to bring in my seedlings; they are still pretty fragile. HOWEVER, I am so glad that spring seems to be here.

I am a total beginner but promised myself that when I retired, I would take some classes. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I just love the doors open and listening to all the birds. My animals go in and out as they please. So, yes, I am putting up with the pollen. -
Wow, discount grocery store adds 10% to your purchase

I feel pretty stupid because I have not seen a sign about the 10%. I don't buy much there but how did I miss it? Oh well. -

I never saw any signs! I'll have to look next time. I buy table wines there; best price in town; even with the 10%. There are sometimes some great prices on fruit. I got Otufalo or Atufalo mangoes (totally wrong spelling) one day for $.38 each. I only bought meat there once and it was quite good. Ok, I guess everyone knew but me; lol. -
Food Depot (am I allowed to put their name here?) I only bought 3 items, totaling $16.19. But my bill was $19.06. They said they add 10% to the total purchase because they are so low in price. Wow! I just didn't realize they do that.

Thanks all. Think I'll try the Tractor Store. I always wanted to go there anyway!! Go figure! Who says that? lol

I am switching to Taste of the Wild. TIA

"Ear plugs" just my bill-paying humble opinion

Funny, but as I have grown older, I have become less judgmental rather than the other way around. I truly do believe it is what is on the inside that counts. I am very concerned that every day there are children being abused (and probably by someone who looks "normal"); old people who are lonely; dogs who are being neglected; young men dying on a war front; etc. I personally don't care for those ear things either and I see a future for reconstructive surgery coming our way, but it does not gross me out. Again, IMHO. -
I have a severe case and sleep with a CPAP machine ev night.

My oldest daughter graduated in 1986. Back then, that was not easily accepted. She chose to take a young man of color from a different school. My husband and I absolutely approved; she was always taught that color was no issue. However, she did receive threats. So as much as we approved of her choice, I could not put her in harm's way. We were their "taxi" for the night and drove them from dinner to prom to breakfast, etc.

It hit me last week for two days and then stopped! Very strange.
