Because they are acting on their own free will. To 'entrap' someone means they only committed the crime due to the influence of another and it was not because of their own free choice.

Warrants are not needed for vehicles if probable cause exists. For example, the odor of marijuana gives cause for a search even if the driver refuses consent.

Got a call from the owner of my old trash company
Ugadawgs98 replied to Gone's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Man people get worked up over trash service. I have been through about 4 companies as routes were bought out which has ended with WI. My trash has always been picked up once a week with all of them. When I renewed with WI my bill went down. Can't complain about that. -
Do you really want people to believe it is not easy to tell if someone has been drinking alcohol? Everyone, not just LE, are easily able to come to that conclusion just from basic observations. The hard part is determining the level of intoxication for a DUI standard, that does not apply when you are dealing with minor in possession. The breath tester is not required for a conviction and it is normally offered because a minor can be cited and released to a parent if they are not legally intoxication instead of jailed. It also gives a person who disputes the fact they have consumed alcohol

Nah...it started with Y2K. As every event passes a new one is created.

There are many potential causes for something like that including a mechanic padding the bill. If one person had a problem with gas from a particular station then hundreds will have the same problem. a call to the state should verify that.

You realize this happened in Atlanta?

A few years ago it was no biggie to find a FFL to do a transfer for $15 for the 5 minutes of work. Now $25 seems to be a bargain, last year I had one tell me $40 with a straight face. I routinely shopped at his store for supplies and he lost all my business because the over inflated his transfer fee.

Whatever happened to old fashioned savings accounts?

A long time in prison is what he needs.

In my opinion a 12GA pump shotgun is the best all around home defense weapon. A variety of loads are available that will handle everything from rodents to self defense. They are also plenty of models that are budget friendly. The Remington 870 and Mossberg 500 are fine guns for the price. There is also a Maverick 88 made by Mossberg that is a well made entry level gun for a small budget($200ish). The have a special home defense model that gives you 8 rounds total. Very capable shotgun for the price.

Turn your unused electrical items OFF in heat wave

They are simply not designed to be unplugged. My recorder records things pretty much all day, there is no way to schedule a standardized time to turn it off. Sure they use power even in standby but it is not as costly as is being portrayed. They do not "use as much power as A/C". -

How is a DVR going to record shows if it is unplugged? That defeats its design, it records shows 24/7 that you can watch at your leisure. You might as well have a standard box if you are going to do that. -
So did you stay and give a witness statement and contact information for the victim so she could give a statement?

Sued By People Who Rescued Her From Flaming Car

Everyone is required by state law to render aid but even that law cannot 'force' you do so at signifigant danger to yourself such as the case of a burning car. -
Yup....an unstable patient goes to the nearest facility. The air ambulance is used to quickly deliver the patient to a facility which has the proper resources on hand. The patient must be stable to go this route because the helicopter just does not have the equipment or room to deal with a patient that codes.

Sued By People Who Rescued Her From Flaming Car

As above.....these guys probably filed a claim for their injuries against her insurance company. They either refused to pay or settle so the only other recourse is a civil suit which then gets reported as "two rescuers sue car crash victim". -
I see that one is over. Any current specials?

Half Gallon Ice Cream's Shrunk To 56 oz's, And Now 48 oz's
Ugadawgs98 replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Your ignorance is showing. 2X4's never 'shrank', lumber is sold by its rough cut dimensions. So when you buy milled lumber the piece that starts as a full 2"X4" ends up being smaller after wood is shaved from it to make a finished piece. -
Wow....the irrational and childish thought process being displayed by some on here is mindblowing. News flash, many many people are interested in many kinds of sporting activities which are not covered or fulfilled by the limited selection of big box stores. There is nothing wrong with those people being excited to find an industry leader in sporting goods retailers is coming to their community which will make it so they don't have to travel 25 miles to find what they need. The way some are acting you would think the store is bringing something horrible to the community.

As long as you can get what you need from a bare minimum selection.

Pretty much...there is a form you fill out and they try to match the book in record.

Neither of our sporting goods stores are much to talk about, they are sports apparel retailers who sell a few other items. Academy carries the actual goods for just about every endeavour.
