I want to learn to can. But all I can think of is my little Granny yelling "Don't run through the kitchen! I am cannin' and I don't want it to blow up all over the kitchen!" This was ALWAYS a fear of mine. I stayed with my Granny a lot and me and her would go under the house to get whatever was under there. I was SO afraid that I would go in and never come out!

I have a friend that used to say to the waitress "she just wants you to cut it's head off and wipe it's butt and stick it on a plate". I would really research before you get into a program. The jobs just aren't as plenty as they used to be. A LOT of billing is outsourced. Another thing too, a fairly large amount of medical groups (Tanner for ex.) require a credit check before hiring. I would take that into consideration as well if you have bad credit. I went to a school in TX for my training and cert. I love the work but my student loans are crazy. But if this is something you really want to do I say do it! I will say the study load especially when you are taking A&P will be crazy. I would just be prepared. Good L

Last year I dropped off toys at Kmart. I believe they went to Hope for Christmas which gives out toys to kids mainly in Paulding.

I have a friend in Idaho and they had their first snow last night.
