After reading reviews I may have to try this next time. Although all 3 of us will be getting flu shots next year!

He took Nyquil Cold and Flu (they were out of the cough kind) and he actually got some sleep last night. I am *hoping* this is the end of it. His fever went up last night but didn't stay up for very long. I have never had the flu, but the worst I have ever felt was when I had bronchitis, a sinus infection and an upper respiratory infection at the same time. I thought I was going to drown on my own snot.

I bought us one last week for Cajun Cookin' for us to try. I guess we won't try it until mid Jan lol.

1. Eat healthier 2. Get more organized 3. Work on earning the dream rewards through work 4. Clean out the basement 5. Work out more often (I would say daily but I know that won't happen!) 6. Work on getting us out of debt 7. Spend more time with my husband and son 8. Work on a plan on getting back in school Now I just have to make a plan for all of those and stick with it!

I think we are going to try the Nyquil cough tonight and the vick's on his feet, if I can talk him into it. Thanks for all the tips! If he is not feeling well by tomorrow we will be trying some of the others.

That might be something I have to look for. He has taken regular nyquil and it didn't really do any good.

We weren't even told that was an option. If he is not better in a few days we may have to go back. I am just not sure what else to do at this point.

So my husband is on day 10 of the flu. It's not nearly as bad as it was. Temp comes and goes but hasn't gotten above 101 in several days. Dizziness and headache are not near as bad as they were. But his cough is keeping him up at night. Doc said Sunday it was too late for Tamiflu and he just had to tough it out. He is staying hydrated and resting when he can. He has NO energy at all. For a guy who works for himself this has been really tough. No work, no income obviously. Any tips from those that have had the flu? TIA!

Little guy got a Leapad Explorer from a grandparent. We haven't really had a chance to look at it. I have a question those for those who have these, do your kids love it? I have seen reviews and most people either love them or hate them. We had thought about taking it back and getting a Mobigo (the grandparent wouldn't care btw). So what are your thoughts on either product if your kids have them? TIA!

Ok now I don't feel bad. We are just now putting up the tree. I just haven't felt like it. I am only putting it up now so the little guy will have one. As far as Christmas-we spent a little more than planned but we got a LOT for our money. Next year I am going to start looking for deals from Jan 1st. I would love to have everything done by Dec. 1st next year!

That's what I was thinking, which means I better get shopping!

Where at by the courthouse?

So we are thinking about going to Toys R Us in D-ville for the black Friday deals (actually Thursday night). For those who have done it before, is it worth it? There is no way we will be able to be there several hours early. We will probably just be able to get there when they open. I am afraid that there will be a huge line and we will have to wait forever to get in. Any recommendations on if we should go or not?

For us it's a train table. Little guy is almost 3 and trains are all he can talk about.

I would love to be able to open the windows and doors, but hubby and I both would be sick. The dr visits would cost more than the electric bill. Gotta love allergies.

Me and I hate it but it's too warm for me to sleep without it.
