I did laminate and I love it!!! I have 3 dogs and grandkids running around on it and it's done great! I would love hardwood but I'm not will to pay the price with house prices they way they are.

My 4 yr old GD was making her list out the other day....on it she asked for a picture of Jesus! She also wants everything on every toy commercial but luckily her hand got tired of writing before she could finish her list!!!

After all of your wonderful information I went to Kohl's in Hiram and bought a queen and twin size heated mattress cover. They were on sale...buy one get one free plus my daughter works there and used her discount! So we love the mattress covers. They are different in heating from an electric blanket...with the mattress covers you feel like you are wrapped in warmth inside of just on top because the heat rises and surrounds you! If you haven't gotten one you don't know the warmth your missing! My body is usually so stiff in the mornings but with this I'm feeling so much better. Thanks ev

Do you use an electric blanket or heated mattress pad? Which do you like best and why? Heading out later today to buy one or the other. I've used electric blankets for years but now I've been hearing really good things about the heated pads. So what do y'all think? Thanks!

We don't answer our house phone. (Yeah, we need to just get rid of it.) What upsets me is that these calls come in after 9 p.m. when my husband is trying to sleep! We forget about turning off the ringers at night until that happens! Glad when it's over! Oh, and yes, we've already voted!
