We have owned our inground pool for 6 years now and have been very lucky to be able to have a company open and close it. Well, this season we've decided to try it ourselves. I'm nervous! Any advise or encouragement welcome! Also, what is the hardest part. I'm not worried about the chemicals as my hubby knows all about that. It's the actual getting the fixings all back in the proper places and getting the pump going that's got me.

I am grilling challenged but I am getting better! I have a Weber gas grill and I'm learning to love it! My father gave me a recipe for the London Broil he always grilled. (He is grilling in heaven now and I know they all love it up there!) So my dad taught me how to do this all but the grilling part. What is the best way to cook this? I'm just learning about indirect heat and haven't tried it yet. I'm pretty good with direct heat. Thanks!

I got roses! My hubby is also cooking on the grill. Hamburgers! Yummy! Really, this was my choice. I love hamburgers on the grill and he hates to cook on the grill. It's been a nice Mother's Day so far!

I just read on yahoo that actress Lynn Redgrave has died at the age of 67 of breast cancer. She was an actress that I really enjoyed. RIP Lynn

Thanks for this! I've had one done and they took out 2 polups that turned out to be precancer. I have to go back every 5 years. Hubby just had his 3rd. They took out 2 polups on him too. His were not pre or cancer but 1 was bigger so he has to go back every 3 years. This procedure is so, so important and can save your life!

I think this is the first time I've been upset enough to reply in this way to someone on pcom. No, I'm not driving 20 in a 50 or anything like that. I'm just not hauling butt to get up to the speed limit from a stop and not slamming on breaks to stop. I do go the speed limit. No, I'm not going to pull over for you to pass because your wanting to haul a**! Now if I was driving really slowing for the whole time then yes, I would try to pull over and let traffic pass. I may take a few more seconds than you do to get to the speed limit or to slow down to stop. I'm also not going to take turns

My mother is 87 years old and she has always gotten so sick while riding in a car, that most of the time she throws up. I do need to take her out in the car and I have to drive slowly. I do drive the speed limit but it takes awhile to get my speed up to that point. I take it slowly coming to a stop and starting back up. I also take turns slowly. If I don't she's so sick for a couple of days. There are many more reason why cars are driven slowly. I know that I've had to drive family and friends home from surgery and have had to drive slowly. I'd love to try this...Is this done with direct heat? Cook high, medium or low and for how long? All the recipes look great except Thoughts. Sorry, I just can't handle that one! lol I did forget to say that my husband can't do any sugar or soy of any kind. It's a bummer! Keep the recipes coming! I'll be cooking out trying them all.
