...if you understand it, that is. Whether you get it or not, what she does is incredible.

Happy trees? Friendly little squirrels? 'We don't make mistakes, we just have happy accidents'? Nothin'?

My fiance convinced me to pick up a brush last week. I painted the stem and leaves of a sunflower, then added the actual flower last night. Now it's just sitting there waiting for detail. First painting in, like, three years.

I'm right there with your mom. I'm an art student, and it's like pulling teeth to get me to actually paint. I say I'm going to do it, I love doing it, I have an insane passion for doing it...I'm just scared to get that brush to the paper.

Happy trees. Oh, how I love happy trees.

These "Mothers" are really ticking me off!

I take HR in with me if I go anywhere but the gas station, and I will only leave her in the car at one certain gas station. I can see not just the car, but *her* from where I park...all the way inside and while at the register. They also know me there, so I just run in and pay - they know me and my car. She'll be 5 in October, and I know I can trust her for the minute and half it takes to run in and hand over cash for gas. Even if, for some VERY strange reason, she does get out of her seatbelt...putting the car into gear wouldn't do anything because she's not strong enough to let down the -

That was my very first thought when I read the article. -
Like always.

Thanks! Right now it hurts all day every day.

Thanks! My mom swears it'll be like having my wisdom teeth removed and I'll be back at work in a few days. Thanks for your prayers! This is actually the first time I've mentioned the injury unless people have asked in person. I know, right?! No more laundry for me.

I dunno if 'quick' is going to happen. The doc says that IF my knee isn't re-injured, it'll take atleast three months for it to stop hurting as bad as it is and a full 18 months for recovery. He doesn't think I'm going to recover completely or not re-injure it, though.

I didn't even think to mention it, really, but now that I'm closing in on my follow-up, I thought I would update. Two days before my birthday (three weeks ago), I stepped on a dryer sheet while getting laundry out of the dryer. When I went to leave the room with an armload of laundry, the foot the dryer sheet was under kept turning and my knee dislocated. Want to talk about painful? I've been limping around ever since with a nifty knee brace with metal bars on the side. My doctor thinks I'm going to need surgery to repair/replace one or more of my tendons...right now we're waiting on my

I say go for it if you think you'll profit from it. I would only take out the loan if you could pay it back without counting on the welding business. Example - I only bought crafting supplies, initially, with money that I knew I could spare or would have from my 'real' job....I never bought it counting on my stuff selling to put the money back in my pocket. I'm sure you'll make it back, but in this economy, I wouldn't even chance it.

Aw man, now I'm crying too.

They actually have that one at Wal-Mart in the book section, and they have the entire set of those books (individually) at Barnes and Noble at West Cobb. Incredible book. Heartbreaking, but incredible.

I love the fact that this is coming from a respectable dressing young person. I agree. Too many 15 year old chics dress like hookers.

What happened today that has made you smile?

The BF and I have spent all afternoon rearranging my closet, going through old pictures, and throwing spare change at each other....all while laughing, having fun, and making room for his stuff. Side note: A man should never own more shoes than the woman. -
FYI---a couple of people have asked....

I KNOW you're going to text me as SOON as you find out if it's a boy or girl, right? I'm gonna make a mad dash to Michael's as soon as I get it so I can get started on yer blanket. -
I found a big screwdriver and just took off the whole knob. HR is currently trying to figure out how to fix it and saying 'But mommy, I love you to the sun!'. I think she realizes she's in trouble.

I so wish I could cut her hair. I promised myself I wouldn't unless she agreed to it, and she's *not* agreeing. I can wash and brush it, and in four hours it needs to be brushed again. It's a curly, tangled mess. Well, thank you! I have no idea where she gets it. She has my shape face from when I was a kid, but the blue eyes, blonde hair, and tan...insane. Everybody says I should put her in modeling but she hates the camera. Thanks. Thanks! I love her eyes. Unfortunately, she knows how to use them to her advantage. Thanks! -
Mine's just a picture of HR from almost two years ago.
