Mine starts Pre-K tomorrow.

I think it's a genius idea and I *do* have interest but it would depend on cost and timing. I work a regular Mon-Friday job, and then I have classes on Tues/Thurs nights. It's hard to fit stuff like this into my schedule. I'm currently working out of a 'Busy Woman's Cookbook' and a '100 Things You Can Do with a Slowcooker' cookbook.

Being the SO of a firefighter/paramedic, I can kinda see where you're coming from. There have been Saturday/Sunday mornings where we're watching the clock, pouting, waiting on him to come home late because he wound up on a late call. He gets off at 9am and is home by 10:30...any later than that and I'm counting it as wasted family time. On the other hand, the wonderful thing about our world is that you choose what you do. I stuck a bead in my ear when I was four. It was just a few hours before a big beauty pageant...I blamed it on my 2y/o brother.

I'd come up there, but I look a mess and I moved stuff all day.

See...I really want something that I do *not* have an extreme opinion on and that I haven't researched or covered before. I've covered universal healthcare (in my last comp class, actually)...I've also covered HIV testing, which is one I'm passionate about. What do you guys think about the impact, if any, of changing gender roles on family structure? or Have the large salaries of professional athletes made a negative impact on athletes and/or sports? (Googling 'research topics' should have been my first stop, I think. ).

Any other ideas or input? I have until Tuesday to settle on a topic.
