  1. I wasn't trying to correct you. I just thought you would be interested to know that there are two cases of it now in different parts of the world. I'm completely amazed by it.
  2. The one from Steven sounds JUST like something my little one would say.
  3. You stole my thingies. ♪♫♪♫♪♠♣♦♥ <-- those are mine.
  4. Meh. I think Dear Prudence regained popularity when Across the Universe came out. I love what they did with that movie, but I hate that everyone has jumped back on the Beatles bandwagon. I see kids wearing apple shirts and I want to go 'Do you even know what the apple stands for?' . Not like I have room to talk, I'm only 24, but I bet if they were to see a shirt that said 'Never could see any other way' they wouldn't have a clue.
  5. Let It Be is my little one's favorite. Her next two are Imagine and When I'm 64.
  6. OH!!!! My all-time favorite band. I'm in the middle of working on a Beatles collage for my back, which will wrap around my ribs. I'm hoping to have Sage and Garrett finish it for me. Seriously huge, and everything in it will have a link to Beatles history, lyrics, album covers, etc. Anyway, this is my all-time favorite. It always has been, then I learned the story behind it and love it even more: Then this one: Then this one:
  7. Thanks! I couldn't find it on the website - only the 2008 games.
  8. Anybody know where I can get the game schedule for this year? HR wanted to play football again this year but I decided not to let her. My schedule is crazy enough without adding football three days a week. I do want to take her to EP games a few times though...I'm an '03 graduate and have yet to watch them win a game against anybody but Osborne in '00. I've always said that game didnt' count - I went to Osborne my freshman year and knew they hadn't won a game in 4 or 5 years.
  9. Noooo way, there's a local skate park now?! Where and what are the hours?
  10. My first gun was a Red Ryder that my grandpa bought me when I was 10 or so. If Nev ever asks for one, she'll get a Red Ryder too. It was perfect, and it's sort of the traditional 'first gun'. ETA: Mine lasted up until I turned 18...then it magically vanished. It still worked just as perfectly as it did the day I opened it, and I'm sure it still would if I found it again. I think it's around my mom's house/brother's room somewhere.
  11. The one in Dallas. I called this morning and they said that they do have a new wallet, but it's not mine.
  12. We need to double date with the other halves and the girls, soon. She was seriously not in a birthday party mood yesterday. You know how kids get when they're really, REALLY tired? That was her all day yesterday after 9 hours of sleep. No bueno.
  13. I did, and then I quit. I keep trying to start back up, but I forget about it for weeks.
  14. I had to play around with the portions a bit before I was happy with it. I rinse my dishes before they ever hit the sink or dishwasher, also, so that may help.
  15. Oh goodness, I'm out of it today. This is what I use: Mix equal parts Borax and Baking Soda, and add 2 Tablespoons per load. Increase proportion of soda for hard water. Use vinegar in the rinse cycle. This is where I picked it up: http://www.stretcher.com/stories/02/02dec09b.cfm
  16. I use this recipe and love it: http://www.thefamilyhomestead.com/laundrysoap.htm
  17. I lost my wallet or had it stolen in Ingles yesterday. I know I had it when I walked in the door, as I pulled change out to get the little one some gum and a toy of some sort out of the machines...after that, I have no idea. I started on the left side with the juice and drinks, and when I hit the bread aisle I realized I didn't have it. Shopping with the kiddo had me all scatterbrained (or moreso than normal, anyway), and I thought 'Oh dang, I must have left it at home'. Luckily, I didn't have my license, cash, or debit card in the wallet. I did, however, have insurance cards (which
  18. Awww. I injured my knee last month and have been in and out of specialists. Found out yesterday that I *might* have to have surgery, but they're going to try physical therapy for 2-4 months first and see what happens. I had an injury when I was his age that ruined my chances of ever being a military pilot. It was a devastating blow, as I had wanted to be a pilot my entire life and had poured my heart into JROTC and getting into the academy. One year left of school, and I had to find a new direction. 7 years later, I'm finally finding one.
  19. HairRazor did an awesome job Farrah Fawcett feathering my hair back about 6 weeks ago, I absolutely LOVE the cut. Wearing it feathered every day, though, was driving me nuts. So, one night while I was resting my injured knee, I decided to actually rest. Being me, I can't just 'sit' and had to do something productive...so I youtubed how-to videos.
  20. Sept 6th? No way in Hades could I plan a wedding that quick. On a side note, that's my mom's birthday. Best of luck - I love the invites!
  21. I got my rollers at Wal-Mart, and then another set at a friend's yard sale for $2. I also have a ConAir big curler, a ConAir little curler, a straightener, and a bathroom FULL of hair accessories and bobby pins. No idea why, I never used the stuff until the past 6 months or so. Now, I almost always have some kind of crazy hair-do going on. Youtube 'curl tutorial' or 'pin curls tutorial' or 'hot rollers tutorial'...you'll come up with a ton of stuff. Pursebuzz is a user on there that has a TON of cute hair styles and she can show you how to do them all. I also youtubed 'quick ha
