I have done this diet, it works great. You have to follow it to the T, like any diet. I have several friends and family that have done it as well with great results. Some have done the under the tongue drops(which work as well if not better than the shots) and some have done the shots under a MD's supervision(they have health issues). The ones with high blood pressure and "diabetes" (weight induced) have now come off all medications and are doing wonderful. Personally I love the diet. But, you need to make sure if you have health issues you do it under a MD's care. Good luck!

Yes they will have fireworks Saturday night. The Riverwalk park is the place to go. There will be bands playing and fireworks at dark. I have been the past 3-4 years and it is awesome. There are places to eat in the park but we always take our own picnic basket, blankets, chairs etc.

What chu talkin bout Willis? LOL. None have crashed, and none have left this area either. The only crash there has ever been in Ga was the one in TyTy/Sylvester many years ago, lost all three crew members. Very bad/sad situation.

Some good points, some bad. I disagree that Helicopters can not bring advanced care to the patient. MANY situations I responded to, the pt would have died if we had not brought advanced care to them and they were transported by ground or even to the closest facility. The mis use of helicopter is minimal compared to the proper use. Many life threatening injuries are not present immediately, that is why there is the mechanism of injury standard. AND, if a pt is taken to the closest (maybe not appropriate facility) valuable time is wasted. If anyone wants to see reason to call the bi

The ambulance doesn't determine the closest helicopter, they just call their dispatch, request a bird, the dispatch calls the helicopter dispatch center and they dispatch the closest AVAILABLE helicopter. Never has there been a one hour wait, it may seem like that when you are waiting, but they will let EMS know if there will be an extending response time and let them make the decision to wait or transport by ground. There are extenuating circumstances i.e. extended extrication time, but never one hour for the bird to "respond".

Paulding Northwest Atlanta Airport Grand Opening - Ribbon Cutting
wanie replied to MillCreek's topic in RECENT TOPICS
There is no bigger fool than the uniformed/misinformed fool. And I see a lot of those here. -
I agree, they didn't really have a choice or even probably a say in the matter. But, there are folks that are complaining that are "new" to the area, those are the ones I was referring to, sorry, should have clarifed that. thanks for pointing that out.

JMO- 1st This land was bought 30 some odd years ago by Atlanta for a possible 2nd airport (10,000 acres) so let's be glad that the big one didn't come. 2nd: This land was bought and planned for an airport 30 years ago, people who object because of the noise it would bring should have done their homework before purchasing homes around the airport, so don't complain if "companies" want to use the airport for certain purposes. 3rd: The airport can/will bring jobs to Paulding Co along with indurstry, something our county is in need of. I realize there are down sides to anything built anywher

I work in the health care field doing chemotherapy. I, nor do the doctors, know what is going to happen to us. I will all depend on the restrictions O places on chemo drugs, the age in which he decides you can/cannot get chemo treatment etc etc etc/ Because of the recent 21% reduction in Medicare reimbursment, we are already looking at either half days on Friday or just closing to save cost, and our jobs!!! This is going to effect so many people in so many ways in so many areas!!! I say we all move to MEXICO, start our government over again, like it is/was suppose to be, make it

Not only has Penske lost a great man, but our community has too. Senseless for him to die this way. Keep his family and friends in your daily prayers please. AND the other two innocent men that lost their lives too.

News has it wrong, Roberto Gonzalez is deceased not Marvlanda
-
One of the dead is a Paulding Co. man. He has worked for Penske for 18+ years. He has a beautiful wife and 2 children. Please pray for them at this horrible time. Also, this same man's (that is dead) brother in law works there too and it is unclear at this time if he is dead or alive. It was said that the man that did the shooting had a history of mental problems. Penske had the man "checked in" to a place to get him help. Allegedly the doctor dimissed him and the man was back to work at Penske with a contract stating he would not act the way he did before. When he did not adhere to

WELL SAID!!!!!!!!!!!!! The last part!! People like to get upset at the wrong things/people. If something happens, look at your part in it. If it wasn't your "fault" then don't talk about the ones who helped you, talk about the ones that are actually at "fault"

They don't "call" the "closest" helicopter, their dispatch calls the central dispatch center and the dispatcher for the helicopter service launches the closest AVAILABLE heli. There are so many things involved from the time of the accident, to EMS arrival, to decisions being made (weather, distannce, mechanism, number of patients, adult/pediatric/geriatric) to the dispatching of a helicopter that goes on behind the scenes. Let's just be grateful this service is even available to the citizens of our state. Without them, many may not survive in situations they could have if rapid transport

It was an dark blue, older model single small cab truck, had some kind of equipment on the back of it that had fallen off I guess during the accident. I too went by this and being a medical person thought that someone must either be badly hurt or dead. I just couldn't figure out how the accident occurred due to the angle of the truck and where the tree was hit. It was odd. Prayers to the family/s

If Erlanger is called to a scene the ONLY place they will take the pt is back to Erlanger. That's their policy. More than likely, they were called because Emory Flight was busy and needed Erlanger to back them up. They do have an awesome Trauma Center, one of the best. Grady is very good too, but after you leave the ER, hold on to your jewels.
