You are as old as you feel. It's a mind set. I know people that are 45 and you'd think they were 80. Attitude counts. I took early retirement at 59, went back to work and retired for good at 67. Still going strong. Fighting to get out of puberty. You have to grow older but you don't have to grow up. Responsible,yes. Old person attitude, no. Genes do have a lot to do with it but don't let your mind think you are old. Do things both mentally and physically to keep you young. Sometimes I feel like I'm 19 then on other days............

In years past I was a tent camper and did back packing. Great to get away from civilization and enjoy nature. Going to a campground using a RV or camper, opening up an awning, putting out your TV and preparing meals inside is not camping. It's suburbia gone to the woods. Catching your meal and cooking on an open fire is better. Then I got married. Roughing it to my wife is going to the Holiday Inn with a black and white TV. Just be careful where you leave yor car. And if you have young one make sure you have warm clothing. And be aware of your surroundings. There are some crazies out there

Why should I try to have new year resolution? You can't improve on perfection. I know I'll get flak from some but it's just a joke eym_sirius. I've tried as many that have been posted but sometimes, if you admit it, outside influences cause you to modify or change your resolutions. I hope you can keep your resolutions and have great intentions of making them work. But you know what they say; hell is paved with good intentions. One resolution I intend to keep is to not be taken so seriously by those that disagree with my politics. And to pray more. That's a given.

One thing you could do if going to court is look on the ticket for where you were stopped (intersection). Take a picture (not your camera) so you can show the judge it was a 4 lane and not a two lane. Sometimes the judge will lower the fine or dismiss it because of a technicality. A lawyer could do it better. Good luck.

You are not supposed to be riding 4 wheelers on public streets. If they are call the sheriff's office. And riders of motorcycles are required to have mufflers, licensed riders and a license on the motorcycle if operated on public streets. Here again call the sheriff's pffice. First I would ask, in the nicest way possible, for them not to be riding after dark or after, say, after 8 or 9 PM. That might work. Maybe not.

It's about 'old' people and their loneliness and how when anyone speaks to them it brightens their day. Try just saying hello to elderly people and watch the smiles. Have you noticed that a lot of people are not putting out Christmas decorations? Our neighborhood/subdivision used to have a lot of homes with lights. I know some people are hurting and even homes are empty but why are some who still live there not decorating? The amount of electricity isn't that much more.
