For those that truly can't afford it, we need to look at a welfare plan. For those that can afford it with some lifestyle changes, they need to make the changes.

At one point the USPS had a monopoly on shipping. Then, UPS and FedEx came along and provided a superior service because they had a better vision for shipping. IMO, the USPS failed to provide a service equal or better than them. This should have never happened since they had most of the infrastructure in place. Like most government organizations they continue to provide an inferior product and are paying the price. I have had to many bad experiences with them and will NOT use them for anything that is important.

Assuming this is an XP machine: 1. Right click on the desktop and left click properties. 2. Left click the settings tab. 3. Slide the screen resolution slider to the left and click OK.

A lot of great advice in this post. As for me, my top three choices are: 1. Apple - you will pay a premium but I think it is worth it. 2. Dell 3. HP 4. Lenovo Based on what I have seen in my shop recently, I would probably stay away from Gateway. They once were one of the best, but their quality has been slipping in recent days IMO.
