That's my fault - I should have explained. A clean install means that I will not just do an upgrade to Vista, but rather completely erase the drive and then install Windows 7. Performing an upgrade is like changing a tablecloth with all of the dishes on the table. It can be done, but the chances are something will be broken in the process. As far as your personal files go, I will copy them over to a external drive before erasing your drive.

Windows 7 is a much better operating system than Vista. Vista is a real pig when it comes to utilizing your hardware efficiently. I cannot believe that they did not have an adequate backup system - there is no excuse for this. People have used a dead persons SSN to establish accounts. I should think that identity thefts involving a dead person would not cause any problems for a surviving family member. Ultimately, the dead person would be the one that would need to clean up the situation, which I'm guessing they will have no motivation or the ability to do.

I see nothing wrong with the posting of actual facts on a website. When a customer lies, I think the business has every right to go after them. As always, I support a "looser pays" policy when it comes to legal expenses and court cost.

I think sometimes we view umpires as cold and heartless. Joyce has definitely improved the perception of the profession.
