Very aggravating. If it would just stay broke I'm sure it could easily be fixed. I'm about ready to take a sledge hammer to it.
-
The thing is that the breaker has never actually tripped. I have even looked for fault codes on the outside unit before resetting and there were none. I had thought maybe that the indoor coil was freezing up, but there is no way to look at it without tearing it apart. I tend to think that it is not freezing up because the condensation pump is still having to pump out water and the airflow seems normal. Both of those observations may not be indicators that it is not freezing as I am not an AC man.

It is for the outdoor. After cycling, the unit immediately starts and it cools normal. When I have the low temp drop problem at night, the OS unit is always operating and cycling the breaker has made no difference.

Thanks. That's the info I was looking for.

Good idea - I'll try anything at this point. Two different techs so far.

I have a 1 year old Rheem dual stage unit and am experiencing the following issues. 1. Several times per week, I find the outside unit not running. Each time, I cycle the breaker in the house breaker box and the unit immediately starts and operates normally for several more days. (The breaker does not appear to be tripped and I have already replaced the breaker just in case it was the issue). 2. Several nights per week (always at night around 10pm or 11pm), I notice that it is not cooling very well. The temperature drop averages around 4-5 degrees while the normal drop is 12-14 degrees

I tried it a few months back. Not bad, not great, just typical Mexican restaurant IMO. I will eat there again.

Need A Website? I Recommend The Millcreek.net!

Because I know that you are a person of integrity, I know that I am under the microscope and that's the way it should be when it comes to referrals. I still get quite a few calls from the yellow pages, but I'm in a unique situation because some of my clients do not have internet access because of computer problems. However, many people find me on the net via a 2nd computer or a work computer. -
FBI access to e-mail, Web data raises privacy fear

Not only do we need to make sure this stops, we also need to make sure that those that are responsible are severely punished. Without any punishment, it will NEVER stop. -
If it is not normal for you to have to log back on to pcom, I'm a little concerned that this incident may be virus related. Do a scan with your antivirus and see if anything turns up.

Need A Website? I Recommend The Millcreek.net!

I am very cautious about referrals that I pass along to my clients and I am pleased to say that Terry runs a business that I have no reservations in recommending. Many businesses still do not have a website and I think this is a huge mistake. A website gives potential customers the opportunity to discover you and get familiar with your business before calling or visiting. Without a site, you are probably losing customers to a competitor. If you need a website, TheMillCreek.net is the place to go! -
She needed to leave. IMO this was an experiment that did not work. Maybe there is someone else outside of the music biz that could make it work. Ellen could not.

You are correct - you have to go to the store to get one. Where did you find that picture of me? I would appreciate the info.

There is no monthly fee with ATT unless you want unlimited minutes. The unit cost $50 after a $100 rebate. The price is right so I may give it the 30 day free trial and see how well it works.

I have lousy cell reception in the basement of my home. This is real problem since that is where my computer shop is. ATT is now offering a femtocell unit which they call Microcell. (Other carriers offer femtocells as well, they just have a different name for them). This unit connects to your high speed internet and turns into your own private cell tower with a range of about 40 feet. Does anyone have any experience with one of these? I'm with ATT, but feedback from other carriers would be appreciated as well. Here's a link to the ATT page about them. http://www.wireless.att.com/learn/why/3gmi

Several questions: 1. Is this a new program for you? 2. Has it worked for you before on this specific computer? 3. Is it a trial version? 4. Can you open the saved document? 5. Have you tried uninstalling the program and reinstalling? 6. Have you tried to print the document before saving? Give me a call if you want and let's see what we can do over the phone. If we can fix it in 5 -10 minutes, there is no charge. Mike 404-234-2703

Do a system restore back to the point before you were having a problem. Instructions for this are here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306084 After the system restore, see if it works before doing any updates. Then, do the updates and check it again. Report back with the results. (Updates from Adobe, Java and Microsoft are usually frequent and security related. In other words, you need these updates in order to minimize the risk of infection).

No problem - it was pretty accurate. I was more offended that you would take your computer to Geek Squad. One other thing to think about for those considering a Mac. You can run Windows on a Mac simultaneously with the Mac operating system. This will allow your PC applications to run and prevent you from having to quit Windows cold turkey.

There's alot of great advice in this thread. We have one Mac along with six PC's. My son uses the Mac for recording and mixing music, which could be done on a PC, but it would not be as easy. I like the Mac for artsy type stuff like music and visual art applications. As previously mentioned, the PC is much more versatile as there is a program somewhere to do just about anything you want to do. With a Mac, you can only do what Steve Jobs (Apple's CEO) says you can do. Because of the tight reigns that Apple has over the Mac, you will see less software related problems. But you need to understand

Great. Now I'm going to have to find something else to ignore other than the phone ringing every 5 minutes. -
Monthly rental charges for a alto sax are usually around $40. This would be my first choice for a new student. You need to be very careful when buying a used one as it may require repairs that could make it not such a great deal. The woodwind instruments, such as a sax, have pads that will go bad over time and can be costly to replace, The other thing to be concerned with when buying a instrument is the brand. There are certain brands that will not play in tune. The band director should have a list of acceptable brands. Also the band director usually needs to approve which instrument a child p
