What I find somewhat disturbing in this thread is that some people not only totally ignore but will also completely deny the fact that even a 17 yo is capable of attacking and doing serious harm to someone, even if the person is older. If the roles had been reversed and the 17 year old had shot and killed someone and he was the one on trial, he would have been tried as an adult. This was not a young child, as so many love to spout. He was most definitely capable of doing what he did to Zimmerman that night. Was Zimmerman an idiot for getting out of his car? Absolutely!! Did he make a bad

The evidence presented proved it was self defense. I wonder how him and his family will continue on from now. He will most likely have to go in hiding for fear of someone harming him now, which is a shame. I agree with the not guilty verdict.

Does Paulding County really need an Ampitheater?

That's a horrible location for that. Right on 278 with fast and loud traffic. What's the point! And to access the SCT, you'd have to cross 278! And no, we don't need it. -
One of my favorite comments from the article: "If google is down... How will I ever google "why is google down?" If google ever disappeared there would be mass hysteria on this planet.

Disgusting. Thankfully, it's been years since I've eaten at a Golden Corral.

Here's one. This is a picture I've seen going around Facebook: This happened over the weekend at a Tim McGraw concert: As he sang "Live like you were dying", he leaned down to kiss a lady on the head. As you can tell she is bald....Because she has been fighting cancer for 7 months. What a moment....

Looks absolutely beautiful down there. I love Mexico Beach. I've been several times and we always stay right next to the pier. So much less crowded and touristy than PCB. We will be going down to PCB at the end of the month, my husband and his parents have always gone there. I hope the weather is nice when we go down. I can't wait.

My husband just recently had a tube put in his right ear, probably about a week ago. He had been experiencing the same type of symptoms as you Blondie. These last few months his hearing in that ear had been HORRIBLE, he was nearly deaf in that ear. I was getting tired of repeating myself. I finally told him to go to an ENT. These are his words of the experience: I had Dr. Parks, he was really nice. I had the in-office procedure so I was awake during the whole procedure. The worst part for me was the numbing drops he put in my ear. It burned and hurt. But Dr. parks said that most p

Boeing 777 Crash Lands at San Francisco Airport
NinaBritt replied to NewsJunky's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Yeah, I heard that there were quite a few people that were unaccounted for. That's crazy. I was trying to think of what could have happened to them. Burned in the plane or maybe fell out when it crashed?? I have no clue. Anyway it just seems so horrible that 60 people are missing. -

I've heard reports that there are now 2 confirmed dead. But don't take my word on that, the reporting on this story has been ridiculous. There's about to be a press conference. -
Boeing 777 Crash Lands at San Francisco Airport
NinaBritt replied to NewsJunky's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I'm watching it on the news and It looks like the debri starts at the jetties next to the bay, before the actual runway even starts. I've heard that its possible it was human error, that the plane came in too low too quickly and the tail hit the jetties. -
Boeing 777 Crash Lands at San Francisco Airport

It now says passenger jet. It also says that the airport will be closed for the next couple of hours, according to announcements, and planes will not be flying in or out. I'm really curious to know exactly how this happened. Was equipment or the plane itself faulty, was this pilot error? I guess we will get more information as the story develops. -
