So Sad and Disrespectful (In My Opinion)..........
NinaBritt replied to Beach Bum's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I think your arguments would be better suited in Whitey's new thread. I don't think BB's intent on starting this thread was to debate the airport and why people agree or disagree with it. It was about the flyers. -

Oh my was it COLD!!!! But we still had a good time. This was our first year going and my son had a good time seeing everyone go by and throwing out candy! We were towards the end of Main St., just in front of the fountain at the old courthouse, and we saw people walking by handing out flyers about the airport just before the parade started. We did not take one so we don't know what the flyer said. But I do agree that politics don't need to be at a community parade geared towards children and families. Not the place or time. -
That is so adorable and so hilarious!

Have you heard about his Atlanta event?
NinaBritt replied to dumbestgirlintheworld's topic in RECENT TOPICS
So right now they have a deal for this Global Winter Wonderland on the Living Social website. Two tickets for $38. I've thought about going but wanted to get some input before buying any tickets to see if it's worth it. For any of you that have been, was it worth it and did you enjoy it? What did you like about it and what did you not like about it? https://www.livingsocial.com/events/cities/34-atlanta/946971-two-tickets-to-global-winter-wonderland?afsrc=1&msdc_id=34-atlanta&utm_campaign=digest_citywide&utm_content=34&utm_medium=email&utm_source=blast -

Yeah I'm kinda puzzled by this one too. What is the significance of asking what your child's favorite things are? I've had surveys at the doctor's office asking questions regarding his behavior and development, but never anything like this. My son just turned two by the way. I'm not familiar with this kind of stuff though so I probably wouldn't be much help in this area.

Mmmm Mmmmm. And some eggnog to wash it down! Really?!? Who comes up with this stuff?

My husband has tried multiple times to purchase a new health plan thru BCBS. Every time he enters our information it sends him to healthcare.gov. And when he puts in our information there the page never loads, it always says authenticating. At this point I'm not sure whether or not we'll have insurance by the first of the year. It is beyond frustrating.

Did you know Taco Bell is suppose to have a breakfast menu next year? They already have it at a few select places around the country but it's suppose to go national in 2014. http://www.tacobell.com/breakfast I'm curious to try their waffle taco.

Well then maybe it needs 1.21 giggawatts of power.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Prayers to you and the family. May she rest in paradise.

This doesn't surprise me at all. How unfortunate that these lives were cut short due to irresponsible behavior. RIP and prayers to the families.

You wouldn't happen to be referring to the Cole Creek subdivision? If so they are doing construction again. The back of the neighborhood is still being worked on, not much houses finished yet. She might have a few obstacles of construction equipment. If that's not the one you were referring to then just disregard my comment.

Yes what this kid did was very wrong, and yes racism still does exist today. And I totally agree with the above bolded statements. But where you lost me is with the last statement. I do not see in any posts in this thread where anyone has expressed any statements of racism towards anyone or any subject. I'm genuinely confused at why you believe this. It would be very helpful if you could specifically point out an instance of racism in this thread so I can understand where you're coming from.
