And the crazy part is, when your husband finds employment you'll be in a world of hurt. Something about that just doesn't make sense, does it?

Unfortunately I think hand drafting is a dying art. In college I probably only had a few classes, but then the main focus was utilizing AutoCAD for all projects. Most of my classes were AutoCAD. This was in the early 2000s of course, where computers were already a staple in almost any profession. I'm sure it would be quite a rare occurrence to see someone still hand drafting in today's world. I do think that it presents a strong foundation though for any profession within the industry. And the highlighted statement is soooooo true!

I'd say once the parent feels comfortable that the child can handle doing it himself without any problems. Until then, if my child aske me to do it, no matter what the age, of course I wouldn't hesitate to do it, nor would I tell him he needs to do it himself because he's "old enough". I may try to teach him so that he can better learn to do it by himself, but as long as he needs my help with something, I will always be there to help, no matter what the task. I think thats the more important aspect as a parent. Anyway, I don't feel age has anything to do with it. Do you know if the boy

Don't know about any ponds here. But my husband's nephew posted a video on Facebook where he and his friend were playing ping pong in the backyard and using the in-ground pool as a 'ping pong table' because it was frozen!! Not sure if it was frozen all the way thru or just on top. They live in Gwinnett county.

First of all I know that Facebook has a rule that a child must be at least 13 years of age to have a Facebook account. Although there are many kids who just lie about their age and have Facebook accounts anyway, many kids and parents actually follow this rule, and the instructions of this fundraiser are basically suggesting its okay to violate this rule, as long as its for their fundraiser. Pretty irresponsible of the school if you ask me. If I were in your position I would contact someone at the school and let them know my concerns. Surely they must know that most of these kids do not
