Warrants Issued against Tex Mciver (who shot his wife)
gpatt0n replied to Lady Raider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Isn't he one of the mucky-mucks (vice chairman) of the Georgia Ethics Commission. pubby -
I'll note that I've looked into things like home freeze dryers (too expensive) and can only note this is not what I call progress. pubby

Did he look anything like this? He does look dangerous ... pubby

I would appreciate it if you would avoid personal attacks on folks who are not here to respond. pubby

DVoP: You have been a tireless advocate for the mere notion that one parent in a divorce may purposely choose to destroy the relationship of the child or children caught up in the divorce presumably as a psychologically unhealthy effort to inflict the maximum amount of misery in an act of thoughtless revenge. I say thoughtless because the acts can impact the child in very negative ways that no loving parent would want for their child. The pitch you gave, however, was a little brief on what you are asking ... which is for sympathetic members here to post to this national petition aski

Apparently it is a Georgia "Appalachia" legend. Here is an article from one of those who knows of her travails as a boogey-beast. Back in the delta, we had boogeymen but I don't remember Soap Sally as one of villains. I think it might have to do with the popularity of hogs and cattle in soap making. While we had farmers who had hogs and/or cattle, in the Delta you wouldn't usually have a hog farm or cattle ranch; if you grasp the subtlety. pubby pubby

24th Annual Dallas (GA) Christmas Parade Dallas was the site of holiday cheer Saturday as the 24th Annual Dallas Christmas Parade went off without a hitch. Well, maybe there were a few hitches as there were horses but the hour-long parade was captured for the enjoyment of all. Service to other was the theme of the parade and over 2000 participants were featured in 82 entrants sponsored by the Paulding County Rotary Club. Are You Prepared for Winter Weather? Winter Weather Preparedness Week Dec. 5-9 (Hiram, GA) – While many consider the snow and ice that accompanies the winter season to be scenic, people can forget that winter weather has the potential to devastate communities and affect thousands of people. Devastating, thick layers of snow and ice can shut down transportation in many parts of our state, making it important for all Georgia residents to be prepared. The Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency’s Ready Georgia campaign, along with Paulding County EMA, is urging Georgia

Georgia Congressman to be named Secretary of Health & Human Services

Obama's mistake had nothing to do with obamacare. It was he didn't insist that a dozen speculators didn't get prosecuted but instead, as an industry, they got off with their $30,000,000 bonuses cut in half. If there had been prosecutions - juicy trials in the fall of 2010 - the dynamic of the election would have been totally different. As an aside, I just saw it reported where Hillary was leading Trump in the popular vote by over 2.5 million votes. Mandate my ass. pubby -

Really, dogs, that is so factually wrong and exaggerated as to be stupid. I'll just call it a Freudian slip ... I mean as many times as Trump has contradicted himself, sometimes in the same sentence, the best thing you can say about what he says is that maybe he will change his mind because he obviously has no core beliefs. Actually, Jamie; the way that laws are written they delegate the power to the dept of HHS to write the associated regulations. I've seen numerous instances where the bureaucrats have written a rule directly contrary to the written law and it stood. (One c -

The law is that the government does not fund the procedure protected by rowe v. wade. It may fund additional health-related services for Planned Parenthood and may provide subsidies for contraception (and training) but not one cent is spent for the procedure by law. I suppose we might expect the Texas solution regarding the remains of the procedure become national law under a Tom Price as well. From the Texas Tribune: I note the efforts of those on the right to try and reassure us all that it will be okay; they won't act like the ideologues we know them to be. For instance New -

At the time of this posting (approx 6:30 p on 11/28/2016) it has been somewhere over 42 days since the last measurable rain in the county. We have a 100 percent chance of thunderstorms and rain this evening followed by the forecast of additional rain on Tuesday and Wednesday. As I've been posting this same National Weather Service radar image since before 2010, I've got to say that what I see doesn't look much like rain from a thunderstorm. Oh well, it has looked overcast and threatening rain for those out and about and we all hope we get the 2-4" downfall, or deluge, we all anticipate.

From an accounting point of view, the cost of disposing of the nuclear waste could be used to subsidize the production of the batteries making them cost effective even if the cost of fabrication is comparatively expensive. pubby
