Commission votes 4-1 to fire Talley, Richardson and Cable law firm

The same thing could be said about Dulles International outside Washington, DC ... which is probably the closest example of what could happen if things really took off here. The county that Dulles is in, in northern Virginia, was small like Paulding and, admitted, has grown. The difference is that the improvements in ground transportation that came along with the planned large airport, ended up with the county in which that airport resides, makes it the number ONE county in the US in terms of average household income. From the wiki: Oh, and BTW, here is the population of Loudoun co -

The imminently qualified guy you're talking about is Harold Linnenkohl, former head of the GA DOT. I looked at the Georgia General Assembly's legislative tracking page for bills sponsored by Howard Maxwell, Paulette Rakestraw, Kimberly Alexander, Micah Gravely, Bill Heath and Mike Dugan and I saw nothing that appeared to be the local legislation that the CW4 were demanding. I think the insulting display by Todd in insisting that Carmichael second the motion for the law - which must rank as one of the most embarrassing moments in Paulding County Commission history - cost Todd and the CW -
Place on Old Villa Rica Rd. with fence and skulls.
gpatt0n replied to BubbaDoo's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Going north on old villa rica (from the high school) this place would be on your right 200-400 feet before you would turn left on Happy Valley Church Road. How do you know it was a pit bull breeding operation? Rose. (If it is, they are the quietest dogs ever ... I've never heard them bark.) pubby -
The value involved is significant (collectables like this may fetch $50,000+ ... it involves multiple state jurisdictions and will get them publicity. The FBI has been a publicity hound since J. Edgar Hoover (and his favorite TV Show The FBI with Ephrem Zimbalist jr.) pubby

I didn't say they were 'on the take.' I would suggest they've been mentally co-opted to a train of thought that benefited from superior political strategy that helped them get elected and now they've got their job, will enable them to keep their job by aligning with the political machine that outside money interests legally built in the county. While I would not assert any of these guys are on the take, I've seen enough in my time to remain vigilant to the possibility. I.e. if you put me on the stand I would not swear to anything other than I don't know and that my level of surprise and -

Could it be that our politicians have simply sold-out to moneyed interests in other counties who have an agenda of keeping this county out of game? One might make that argument by simply pointing out that the CW4 refuse - and for no apparent reason - to ascent to the nomination of Harold Linnenkohl, former head of the Georgia DOT, whom Chairman Carmichael has nominated to the IBA. They won't do it because they want to control the IBA and PCAA and they don't figure they can control him. pubby -
If you only came here, Zorro, they would be challenged but if you think that big data isn't collecting every shopping trip, facebook poke and twitter message. Haven't you been keeping up with the growth and predictive capabilities of BIG DATA. I mean two or three years ago I related that bit where big data was able to ascertain that a teenage girl was pregnant before the kid knew it herself and started sending her ads that were targeted to pregnant women. (It came out because she was using her dad's account and he looked into why he was seeing the pregnancy services ads and wondered wh

Long ago I discovered that my power is at its peak when it is determining what I do, what I think and defining who I am. We are all going to die, dogs ... and despite the obvious failings and hatred others ... I choose not to die with hate eating at me, in me or around me. There are others ways other than hatred, bigotry to address the hatred and bigotry of others. If you wish to accept their example as your guiding light; go for it I guess, but I think we all know there are more uplifting, spiritual examples to follow including those who counseled turning one's cheek and heaping gift -

The skinning tools in the software purport to find instances of things from a general search ... I guess I wasn't using it properly. You will note that I removed the entire copyright aspect of the board. I've got to somehow bring it back but it was important to make it go away first. pubby

The concept, dogs, is genocide which has many stages. The first stage is fostering indiscriminate hatred and distrust. Take this quote from a link in another topic: I stand against all forms of ignorance and hate all the time everywhere I see it. Being uneducated is a condition; being a bigot is a character flaw. pubby -

BOC Airport remains volatile issue in divided commission

I thought this was a serious topic and here you go joking The plain fact is that the four folks on the commission who seem to vote in unison behind the leadership of Todd seem to lack, what most folks call common sense. To wit: They are complaining because the former chairman did the housekeeping act of transferring the property that the airport was built upon to the folks who own the majority of the property that the rest of the airport is built upon so the Federal Government can't come back and sue us for reneging on the deal we made with them to build the airport in the first plac -

Thanks for posting this. I tried to come ... but the camera I thought I was going to use didn't work. (I did something stupid about three weeks ago; I left my main field cameras in my case outside my car and drove off ... and when I remembered and returned, they were gone.) pubby -
I've poked around the site and sought to block the IP from my server (and avoid the situation) as well as searching through the skins for the link he's embedded in there somewhere. I even called the owner on the phone (didn't reach the owner of virteq.com) as I'm certain that the issue is he was using that tracking bit and when he made the change on virteq.com website, he didn't think he'd cause the problem here that he did. Oh well, I'll call him again tomorrow or figure something else out. for now, just click close or the X in the top right. pubby

found it. The skin or 'look' seeks an image the source of which has been moved to a secure area on the skin company's server ... no doubt by accident. Because the skin bit is apparently on just about every page , the moment that page seeks the image bit, the moment it asks for the the logon. I suspect the company hid that little bit of an image in their skin product (which we bought and paid for ) to make sure no one was stealing their work. (Their logs would tell them pages they served.) I tried to go to the company but their whole site seems to be in this situation ... maybe it w

It is obviously something to do with the source of the skins. I'll poke around. It could be that a link parameter ... there is the link at the bottom ... became corrupt assigning the link to the entire page by accident. I got it too. pubby

BOC Airport remains volatile issue in divided commission

It is a long video - almost three and a half hours - and I've not gotten through it yet. Here is a bit of the low-lights (can't call them highlights). At about the 36-minute mark, Post 2 commissioner Todd Pownall interrupts the proceedings to call for an executive session to discuss litigation. This is immediately before Terry Tibbits is scheduled to speak and Todd obviously doesn't want him to speak. The chairman suggests that he sets the agenda and figuring it is Tibbits appearances - Tibbits is the interim airport director - that has Pownall spooked, pushes back on Pownall ... bu -
The 'skin' - outward appearance of pcom is based on a setup of material from virteq.com ... (it is at the bottom of the page) ... Is it possible that you're actually clicking on the bottom right 'recent topics' button and hitting the virteq.com link by mistake? Are you on a desktop or mobile phone? pubby
