Welcome to the NEW PCOM post your comments here We continue to get reports of folks who are unable to navigate the new site. The most likely reason is an obsolete browser such as IE 6 or IE 7 (80 percent of the users use IE and these two versions are known to cause issues with the New Pcom as well as being known Internet security risks (reason there is an IE8). You can upgrade IE through your current Internet Explorer browser or, if you like the version you have, you may instead install one or more of the following alternative browsers. Google Chrome http://www.google.c

Paulding.com is undergoing an upgrade as we speak. If you read the notice at the top of each forum (announcement) it will tell you about it. Also, watch the front for updates and don't be surprised if you come back tomorrow and find a whole new look to the old paulding.com pubby PS: The test board (see LPPT's topic) gives you a sneak peak at the new board.

I'd have to pay you millions to walk down Confederate Ave in a pink tutu or with no underwire bra ? pubby

They're saying wild and crazy things about you on the test board. Really, they said they saw you walking down Confederate Avenue in a pink tutu with no underwire. pubby

Sprayberry on their 10 yard line with 19 seconds..left. Clock is stopped with 2 seconds on the clock ... it was an incomplete pass ... still on their own 10 yard line. almost ready to call it but the game's not over until the refs say it is ... two second ... maybe less on the clock ... oh, the refs reset the clock to 4 seconds ... incomplete pass. here we go ... good deal ... final Hiram wins. pubby

Hiram is at mudberry and winning 28-27. pubby

Sprayberry scores a TD but fails with its extra point try - 28 Hiram - 27 Sprayberry ... I mean mudberry. 3:17 left in the game with Hiram receiving the ball from Mudberry on a kickoff. (The report is a Hiram defender deflected the ball which hit the goal post but failed to go through. pubby

Hiram's #24 (wish they could ID him) scampered 70 yards for a TD putting Hiram ahead (with a good extra point) 28-21 with 4:57 left in the game, Debra's husband Mike informed me Go Hornets. pubby

Debra Singletary called from the game at Sprayberry which is nothing like mayberry but more like mudberry she says. Hiram was down 21-0 when they scored once in the first half with about five minutes left. After the second half kickoff, Hiram score twice unanswered to bring the score to a tie at 21-all with just over 9 minutes left in the fourth quarter at the mudberry field at Sprayberry. pubby add on: Sprayberry was driving and had reached the Hornet 5 yard line but incurred a penalty and tried and failed on a field goal attempt. Hiram has the ball now on their own 2

My gut is that it will be newhope2.paulding.com site. I don't have the IP on the machine I'm using at this moment but really there is little to worry about tonight. This board (the version 2.3.6) will definitely still be live tomorrow morning. That is because we are actually making a tar ball of this entire site and moving it about five or six miles away to another Internet connection point. That will take an hour and that will happen sometime after midnight. After moving that roughly 4 GB file (all your pictures, all my pictures, etc.) five or six miles over the net - at least

At this point, this site will remain paulding.com until the new site is there. For a sneak-peek ... and a place to check if this site fails and the new one doesn't come, check http://newhope2.paulding.com/forum/index.php?app=portal This is a fully functioning upgrade of the board but doesn't include any of the posts from the past week or so... only those that we've put in playing ... You'll see a lot of test, test, etc. and even some errors and omissions and even broken images. But it will give you a taste of the new board. Speaking of omissions, on the default view there

looks more a like a gold rush and a bunch of greedy folks to me. But then again, things like this are like beauty, solely in the eye of the beholder. pubby

I recommend openoffice (http://www.openoffice.org ) as the package rivals ms word with excel, db and even a drawing and powerpoint component. and it is free. it writes to those formats as well as reads them from others (import/export is easy). pubby

We did get a confirmation last night from the SO that there was a shooting and there had been no arrests and that a shooting victim had been life-flighted from the county. Additional information is expected a little later today. (The email from the SO suggested this afternoon). pubby
