Fake news ... The Saudi's were comparatively generous with Bill Clinton's "Clinton Foundation" which was not tied to Hillary Clilnton's presidential campaign. It would be illegal for a candidate to be the beneficiary of foreign funds or even in-kind gifts to be spent in a presidential campaign. The Clinton Foundation was not spending funds, buying ads through Cambridge Analytica, stealing personal data for targeting, buying ads on facebook with rubles or Riyal or even hacking the RNC or Trump Tower for emails ... Below is the FAQ from the Clinton Foundation: This differs fr

The British newspaper, "The Daily Mail" is reporting that the crown prince of Saudi Arabia is bragging that Jared Kushner gave him the CIA background information on the other members of the royal family that he used for his crackdown that included torture and murder. Jared got big money out of the King of the UAE ... I wonder what he got from the Saudi Crown prince for his - I mean 'our' national security secrets? This administration is criminal. pubby

Why would anyone favor public transportation? There is one, overwhelmingly simple reason. A train that can carry a thousand people between point A and point B - assuming 1000 people want to make that trek - is vastly more efficient than each one driving a personalized car (or horse). The only personal transportation tool that comes anywhere close to the efficiency would be the bicycle. The preferred alternative, however, is what is found in NYC ... i.e. you build up and everyone is already at point A and they just take the elevator to the desired floor. Why be concerned about

You know that is offensive, especially to those who like sweet and sour pork. And like the chicken industry, they contract out significant portions of the business of growing the pigs. They do this because it effectively externalizes their risks and puts more of that risk on family producers. Because of their advantage in access to capital, I suspect they actually welcome this as it will give them the opportunity to buy out the family-owned producers and corporatize an increasing percentage of the business expanding their share of the market at distressed, below market sales.

Political newcomer faces questions about past social media post.

Chainsaw: If you look at where the blue states are, you'll see that they're largely democratic. FYI, the vote in New York, where they knew Donald Trump, was more lopsided against him as the vote in Georgia was for him. Hillary got 58.8% of the vote in NY vs. Trump's 51.3% of the vote in Georgia. Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee gave Trump much higher levels of victory; ones that would rival Hillary's vote in NY. I guess the point is that you may be right, Georgian's are not that welcoming of Yankees as those other states but then again it may not have much to -

I'm watching westworld on HBO. You know the show where robots act out as surrogates literally dying to satisfy the sick evil notions of their customers, who certainly have no notion or interest in anyone feeling good. Misery it seems is your goal for others. pubby

That makes no sense, dogs. Hell, I don't pay you a thing and you're on here doing PR all the time. He's offered the same deal as you. He can come on and post what he wants for free and when it is too absurd, asinine or offensive, we'll hide the tripe. Fact is, given his comments it would have been quite beneficial had he been 'moderated.' Oh, and I figure he's not the dumbest so he hasn't got a chance of getting elected because, well, we all know being the dumbest is the only way to win the district 19 seat. pubby -

The District 19 House seat curse: Good, better, best, never let it rest 'till the dumb gets dumber and they elect the dumbest. The history of Republican representatives of District 19 remind me of that childhood rhyme ... I think it is actually the district 19 curse. Just for historical reference: Dumb is that Speaker Glenn Richardson did when he got caught with 'another woman'... Dumber is what Daniel Stout did when he confessed his tryst with his mother in law Dumbest is what we have now ... Barefoot Paulette who was air-brained on the school board, a tradition she took -

In a contest between donkey's, who are often accused of being total asses and elephants; the elephant still has the biggest ass. But even dogs ass eclipses the elephant in terms of being a big ass. pubby -

Sounds to me like the GOP primary for District 19 is the classic dumb and dumber contest. pubby -

there are lots of things we could do with guns besides banning them. One thing would be to integrate them with technology ... they've actually developed technology that would prevent a gun being fired by anyone other than its owner. I mean my cell phone has a fingerprint reader that prevents anyone else from using it. I bet those mothers - real mothers btw - whose two and three year olds dig in their purse, take out momma's 38 and plug her - would like to have had one of those. The real point is that we know that the gun culture is one that is based on the fantasies of the wild west

Actually, you do know that switchblade knives are illegal in interstate commerce or for import as are various classes of ballistic knives. It is also illegal to carry a double-edged weapon (sword) https://www.quora.com/Why-is-it-legal-to-carry-a-gun-but-not-a-sword https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ballistic_knife https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Switchblade pubby

When I think about these things, I consider not the morality - people's morals have always been all over the board. Rather, the reaction seems to be the visibility and what the implications of that visibility are. In times past - you know when America was great back when - the vice crimes were largely hidden broadly but open in specific areas. The sex business then was typically controlled by organized crime and operated with the tacit consent of law enforcement which was notorious for being on the take. The emergence of services like craigslist didn't eliminate organized crime fr

I figure you'd want to know so you could pass it along to Donald and the other dogs like Roy Moore and that former gov of Alabama. I think Bill already knows. pubby

I remember when he came to Paulding to break ground for Chatt Tech. My wife baked the cake for that event, styling it to resemble the Chatt tech building. pubby

Apparently an Alabama lawyer was not compromised by the backers of Roy Moore who hoped he'd sell out his client for $10,000 and the ability to hobnob with right wing stars like Steve Bannon. Yep, this is how fake news comes to be, sometimes. And who is at the center? It is an amazing story. Open your eyes. pubby

Saw this in the NYTimes ... and went to the local craigslist to check it out. It's true: This is what you'll see if you click on the personals: pubby PS: These kinds of communications which should be covered by the first amendment apparently have fallen prey to regulation. If only the gun toting puritans of the religious right, which reject regulation of the second amendment, were as adamant about regulations impacting the first.

I wouldn't call LGECCU a big bank. It is a credit union. If they'd sold to Regions or BoA or Well Fargo, you're criticism would be valid. LGECCU is, after all a local credit union. pubby

no evidence of collusion between Trump, Russia
gpatt0n replied to Coppertop's Pop's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Three campaign aides, including the campaign chairman, have been indicted or plead guilty to crimes including being unregistered foreign agents; a crime that Trumps' first National Security Advisor (same position that folks like Henry Kissinger and Condi Rice held) was also indicted on being an unregistered foreign agent at the time that he was appointed and served as Trump's National Security Advisor. Considering the issues here all are tied to foreign involvement in our election and government. Then there is this George Nader witness who is apparently deep into the scene where we flip on -
no evidence of collusion between Trump, Russia
gpatt0n replied to Coppertop's Pop's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I think there is more to know and that further investigation will establish the facts. What we do know are the actions of this president. His actions, both overt and by acts of omission, present a highly suggestive if not convincing case of collusion with a foreign power. Now Mr. Brennan has a much better grasp of the facts and his attitude and mine happen to coincide. I would add that Mr. Mueller has just provided full immunity to a fellow named George Nader whom has direct connections to a known felon who also happens to be Trump's top GOP fundraiser and arms dealer who was also
