It is politicians who are responsible. They act out to impress constituencies that contribute cash to campaigns in support of narrow ideologies. They basically abdicate their leadership - they stand for nothing - and instead tell lobbyists to write what they want because they believe it is their job to deliver the goods for the folks who 'put them in office.' It is not a bad mistake. I just would remind you there is a "news forum" now ... used to be county-wide news ... and then there is the cafe. The closest thing I could find was this 'huntsman' spider. Apparently the males have six legs and the females, eight. That the front two legs (of the eight) were adapted for another use (holding down the female and squeezing her??? ) apparently is not too uncommon among spiders. If you are asking if citizens can obtain, for instance, 911 calls from the SO, they are available under open records laws. You'd need to contact the SO with your request including the date and time and subject of the call. I'm not sure but I think that Colbert seems to be coming out for Donald Trump for President. Certainly he spoofed Trumps' announcement down to the promise that he wouldn't ride a bicycle but when you consider that Colbert, who starts as host of the Late Show in September, will want the Donald to visit, the presentation was not a bridge burner. Indeed, IMO, it wasn't as over the top as Trump's actual announcement. pubby
