I honestly don't think 'the curse' was the source of the questions that Megan Kelly leveled at the Donald - it was Ailes. Actually boards of directors are about establishing policy, mojo, not micromanaging the entity. This was a contract execution issue and would be in the purview of the exec. director to do.
