There is nothing like moonshine. I had kinfolks that used to help to make the moonshine. The real dark nights were the best for making moonshine. They could see stares even on cloudy nights when others couldn't. Like at the end of a rainbow there was a pot with the moonshine also. They say the moon shines so bright between the bars of prison. Like I said nothing like moonshine.

A rabbit foot is good luck if it stays on the rabbit.

GO BLUE that is what I was trying to say. Don't sit and wait for the goverment to do what you should be doing for yourself.

I believe it is all of our duty to help anyone that is truly in need. The people that I was talking about is the ones that has already been helped over and over and still refuses to help themselves. My daughter Charlie Angels has a food Ministry here in Dallas and helps many people with food. So tell this lady if she needs food to call this number and talk to Darlene and explain her situation and I am sure she will help her with food each week. Her number is 404-304-9894. Our prayers are with this family. May God Bless.

I am talking about walking out. The water wasn't over knee deep. I am not talking about the elderly these people were young. I am sure that they play in water deeper than that . I know that the very young and the very old would have problems walking in knee deep water but the people that I saw wasn't either.

I watched this when it happened and saw people sitting on the roof waiting for a helicopter to pick them off of the roof when I could see the cars sitting in front of their houses. Folks the water wasn't even over the wheels of the car. They just didn't want to get their feet wet.I am all for helping anyone that will help themselves but some people want other to just keep them up while they do nothing to help theirself. If I had been in the dome after the storm I would have took my family and left walking instead of sitting there for a week waiting for the goverment to send trucks to pick me u

That was very nice. I really liked that. I think we are all good loving caring people and all care about people that have lost a love one. We are just looking at this in different ways . I can see all sides of this and understand what each one is saying. We are all saying the same thing just in different ways.Nothing to get upset with each other about. After all is said and done we should still be friends.

You said a lot in your post that I was trying to say but you said it better.

Sorry that your son has lost so many friends and family members in his short life. I think some young people hide their true feelings inside until it builds up and comes out later in other ways. Some young men don't want anyone to see them cry because they think that it is a sign of weakness.I think that many heart attacks are caused by holding things inside that we should let out.We should teach our children that it is alright to let our feelings out when we are sad or happy or depressed or even mad. I have known kids that will not even look at anyone that is dead and in a casket. Death is s

You are right . This post started out to be does one group have the right to say what others can do. But this has been good also to see this from all sides. Not to say that any one person is right or wrong but that people see things in different way. When I cut the cemeteries I saw some of the most costly tombstones ever made and I also saw head markers made of two paint sticks that were crossed to make a marker. I would think this person with the two paint sticks crossed for a marker might have loved their love one more than the one with the big tombstone. Maybe they just didn't have the money

I agree LPPT I know that it makes me think every time that I see one. Like CC'S wrecked car display for safety It is not pretty but I think it is necessary to save lives. Saw his display on the front page of the Dallas New Era this week and was proud of him for caring enough to do this for the kids of Paulding County.Death is not pretty but something we all must face young and old. So lets all just love each other and help make life as easy for others as we can untill our times comes.

Steven has been a Santa clause to a lot of P.Comers.That is why it is so good to be in his presents.

Like someone else has already said I can see both sides of this. I lost my brother and his little five year old daughter at the same time on Austell road in 1980. We did not set up anything at the spot where they were killed. We didn't have to because the bark was missing off of the trees that they hit. Could not drive down Austell road without looking at the trees . Never celebrate the 4th of July because that was the day they were killed. If I was a land owner and someone was killed on my land I would be glad to let them put up a cross if it would help the family. But on the other hand I co
