  1. Take it from the voice of experience. Never, and I mean NEVER, store your tube of Prep H and your tube of deep heating rub in the same drawer. Especially if you're nearsighted. It ain't funny at 3am.
  2. Just something to do. Let's see what little secrets y'all are willing to dish, if any. I'll go first. I've had a serious crush on the Prestige Jewelry lady for years. It just crushes me every time her commercial comes on. Ah well, such is life. Y'alls turn, don't leave me hangin man.
  3. Your right on all counts, but......and I hate to but you at all here, but.....how it came to be was like heating a frog in a pan. The old man that lived there let people take advantage of him. He also seemed to have a fondness for the downtrodden. He died and the out of town son kept on renting to the same people. In time it ended up a commune and garbage dump. I think they were doing clean ups for the wood and salvage metal. It wouldn't have taken but one trip for him to see what was what. And I'd bet now his property is pretty much worth the value of an improved lot minus what a finish to th
  4. I forgot to mention, if you look real close at the pictures, that if SOME of y'all (you'll know who you are) bought wood out of this garbage pile this past couple months, FYI, a lot of that wood didn't belong to them. They cut it off the rental property they turned into a garbage pit. That should of read "past few months".
  5. If you want the actual, non-hyperbolic, answer. Their process was once purely a civil matter and as a result it was soooooooooper slow. Not so very long ago that was changed so that now when they do take an action it's a criminal matter. That was done with the intent of adding teeth to the enforcement and to speed the process. I said "intent", that is not always totally reflected in results. And I say not totally because to get this far in the past could have taken exponentially longer. Unfortunately or not, what we have now is a criminal process that is being approached by a bureaucratic of
  6. Didn't want to bust into someone else's topic and wanted to make the original topic optional. Its titled "And So It Begins", http://paulding.com/forum/topic/321660-and-so-it-begins/ it'll tell the backstory with original pics. The pics suck because of trees in the way. The new ones here are better. Anyway, it's 5 months from my original complaint to the Marshals Office. I can't say how much of what's happened was caused by what, but I'd bet that was the key that turned the switch. About 3 months or so in, I happened to be working outside when a lady came walking thru with a guy and the one p
  7. Granted it'll raise its ugly head on occasion in a court case here or there. And when some celebrity is spinning getting caught with a tranny prostitute in the closet or something along those lines. But no where else but national politics is it everyday business to make your commited or perceived wrong less wrong somehow, by making someone else wrong either now or in the past, It's almost a national pastime. Obama did it with Bush, Bush did it with Clinton. Right does it with left and left does it with right. And everyone is just fainting away at what someone else did, is doing, or might yet d
  8. Strip.....you don't get the fillet but you aren't paying for the bone.
  9. Dali & daVinci Auctions and Estate Sales LLC. Yelp review: "Sorry I have to give this place a 1 star. Purchased a chair and wanted to change the fabric. When the fabric was pulled back mouse droppings were everywhere underneath. Ended up throwing it away in the trash and a waist of time and money. Lice, bugs, fleas and rodents can not handle! Caution !!!!! Before purchasing used items! 1 person voted for this review Useful Funny 1 Cool Comment from Christine C. of Dali & DaVinci Marketplace Business Owner 8/9/2017 That sounds like a horrible experience, M
  10. This may seem that I'm some sort of unamerican commy spy or something, but not one time in my whole life have I ever been able to convince myself to whip into MickyD's for some pork. There ain't enough advertising in the world to get me past that.
  11. Yes'm, no argument. I am hurt that you would think that I couldn't recognize my own kind enough to already know that.
  12. You're probably right, but you know in your heart there's a really good chance those folks moved to Cali straight out of Acworth.
  13. A hint about what you're paying a month would be helpful. Waste Industries just went up to around $65 quarterly. That's 2 cans weekly.
  14. Opened on the 3rd for dinner only apparently. Tried to go for lunch today and was told they'll be opening for that starting next week.
  15. Probably can't be done, but a "Do Not Hire" list somewhere would most likely be more handy in cutting out the shady and the shifty. I've got a couple of local "bad'ol'boys" that would probably save folks time and misery to know their names. I get the whole thing about perspective and one persons fine job being a problem for somebody else. But there are some undercover meth heads and borderline crooks out there that have nothing to do with it just being one persons opinion.
  16. Probably be much more receptive if the afternoon hadn't been spent fixing a frozen outside faucet.
  17. Willie Nelson abruptly ended his concert in San Diego this weekend after coughing and experiencing breathing difficulties during the first song of his performance, according to a report from the San Diego Union Tribune.
  18. For the protection of life and property, for the willingness to place themselves between a citizen and a gun, for the willingness to run towards the crap while everyone else runs away I stand appreciative everyday. It's a job where you're one call away from dealing with the worst life has to offer without the option to turn away from the horror. For the nationwide use (and you can check this out on Live PD every Friday and Saturday night) of the phrase "I smell weed, get out of the car", and sending a dog in to tear up a car for a "probable cause" hit and then standing on camera and tellin
  19. mojo, groove, style and/or profile when...! A long story cause I'm bored. You could be too. Stop here, you've been warned. It's official, if'n I ever had it, I ain'ts gots it no more. Keeping the details as vague as possible (just in case the lady in question happens to read this, one round of shame is enough), it happened. Or at least it finally happened to the point I noticed it. Cause apparently I'm box'o'rocks dense. It was a good day, uncommonly good, one of those days when you still feel that little bit of swagger. Fresh out the shower and all shined up. Smellin' like a gard
  20. A baby injured in a meth raid, real or hoax, and the proposal to let someone of age smoke a legal joint in their living room, grown by a hippy in his back yard, and taxed by the government, has only one thing in common. It's usefulness as a disingenuous prop. Edit: Or if you'd like, take the tax and the government out of the equation. Same commonality exists.
  21. They announced it like a couple of months ago. Whether they put it on here or somebody else did, I'm not sure, but it was on here. The first I can remember hearing about there being a coffee shop there was the announcement they were closing. Just for general information, Gyro City opens in front of Academy Outdoors tomorrow, last I heard.
