  1. Only, in your dreams, Eddie. In your dreams. We must you tell lies and hope everyone believes you? And then when you tell the truth no one will know whether it's another lie and the truth? Yep, there you go again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3GnWTy8Ebg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wi9y5-Vo61w http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=px7aRIhUkHY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=It0Dtm1gFFQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9qDRZ6pSRE
  2. The family of the girl that died had no idea drinking that much water could kill you. And apparently the jury who ruled in favor of the girl's family wasn't aware of that either. It was a prank in either case. DJs have to take responsibility for their actions. They are not exempt just because it's supposed to be funny.
  3. Having this kind of implementation might cause the situation with the crook no to happen in the first place - if it was a well known feature. Just as, breaking into a business after hours sets off an audible alarm to scare them away while the cops are on their way. If we did away with currency altogether, so that everyone used electronic transactions, then that would put a stop, or at least reduce, to this sort of activity as well.
  4. Who said I felt like a victim? Please, get back on your meds!
  5. In the words of Ronald Reagan, "Well, there you go again."
  6. So does everyone feel the same toward these Australian DJs as that other DJ whose "how much water can you drink" resulted in a death of a teenager?
  7. I just wish you could talk and debate coherently.
  8. Doesn't matter. It just reflects back on the site owner as to the validity and credibility of its content.
  9. That's not much difference than seeing multiple posts by The Postman regurgitating the same garbage over and over and over and over...
  10. If it's legalized and regulated (re: taxed) they will still be those who will deal under the table to avoid being taxed. Even though alcohol is legal, a more powerful version - Moonshine - still flourishes and creates a criminal element. I would suspect if pot was legalized and regulated it would only be a matter of time before an underground market of a more powerful version of pot would become more prolific that would continue to support the cartels and dealers.
  11. Many people have tried to sing songs written by Kris Kristofferson, but no one comes close to doing them with the same soul who lived, felt and wrote those words.
  12. Pubby said it was okay for him to babble to himself in multiple posts. Zombies are like that.
  13. It shouldn't be too costly or expensive to implement a 'hostage code' on an ATM machine. Knowing that HiDef cameras are much cheaper now but only capture the image once every several seconds. So if you entered your 'hostage code', similar to your house alarm system, it could 1) send a signal to sound the audible bank alarm to hopefully scare off the crook, and 2) activate all of the the ATM/bank cameras into 'real-time' mode to capture a more accurate picture of the area. Hopefully that would have a good picture of the guy running away empty handed. :-) It wouldn't help too much on those s
  14. I always wanted to buy a pair of those when I was a kid in school. :-)
  15. Is that what is wrong with some pcom posters???
  16. 220 isn't really more electricity, it just runs more efficiently. 110 is the difference between the line and ground. 220 is the difference between Line1 and Line2 (two 110 lines that come from different phases). The biggest difference between a 3 prong plug and a 4 prong plug is that there is an extra wire for the ground. A 3 prong plug with have 2 hots (Line1 and Line2 that give you 220) and a Neutral. A 4 prong plug has those plus an additional Ground. One could argue that the Neutral and Ground are the same thing, but it's just extra safety. The biggest danger is the outlet and br
  17. I hope they don't change it to an improper 3 prong plug. The plug configuration is designed that way for a reason. The wire, breaker and the outlet are not only configured for 220 V but also for a certain amount of amperage. If the plug on the dryer is changed to a lower amperage rating just to make the plug match up to your current wiring setup you could end up drastically shortening the life of the appliance, causing the wiring to over heat and cause a fire, etc. Just be careful. That statement had me concerned.
  18. There used to be a large display somewhere around Bobo Rd and Mt Tabor Church intersection. I remember two long driveways leading people in and out off the property. They had a live Santa setup almost every night. There used to be another display off Smith Ferguson Rd (off 61S and off Dallas Nebo) in one of the subdivisions on the same side as Meadowbrook Ln where all of the homeowners tried to outdo each other. I don't know if either of these are still active sites or not.
  19. I've been reading that those new computers configured with Windows 8 cannot be downgraded to Windows 7 without jumping through some hoops with changing the BIOS (manually). Some PC's actually required a chip change on the mother board (according to a Dell tech).
  20. The moral of the story: Rake your leaves up into an empty box and place it somewhere to some can steal...take it to the dump for you.
  21. Yes it did and I thoroughly understood it. The rumor about the implementation of it already being done is false. However, the idea and that it was presented to the legislature was true.
  22. The Hardy Boys had a pretty decent setup, I thought, since it was all on their private property. They had people directing traffic to keep everything moving.
  23. I wonder how long it will be before the Felix Lights meet the same fate as the Hardy Boys Lights?
  24. I bought a brand new 42" HDTV and after unpacking it I had this huge box and packing material to dispose of. When I was cleaning the yard I had to extra bricks that I no longer needed for a project so I put the bricks in the box and sealed the box up with clear packaging tape. I loaded the box that contained the packaging material and bricks and put it in the back of my pickup, and planned on taking it to the dump. However, I needed to stop at WalMart first. When I came out of WalMart I found that someone had taken my box out of the back of the truck and it was nowhere to be seen.
