Simple answer...You won't, they're worse off than you.

There is a huge difference between welfare, meaning, sitting on your ass, pumping out babies, not even looking or wanting a job because you can live off the Guberment, and being without a job because of downsizing or whatever, you are drawing UE. Get over yourself, I'm not taking it personal, but I do feel for the folks going through some tough times. It is not an issue for me, I've retired twice and invested wisely, so I can sit on my ass and spend MY money all I want.
