I have misplaced my "Happy Fall Y'all" sign that I use with my yearly fall yard display and my life will not be complete without a "Happy Fall Y'all" sign for the coming autumn weeks. Have any of you shoppers out there in p.com land seen anything similar to this type of sign (preferably larger) in any of the stores around town? I have already looked at Wal-Mart and Target and they did not have a similar one. Thank you!

And? How do we pin this down as to how much each individual of this county pays for taxes coming from the general fund (other than property taxes)? How do we gauge how many out of county residents are contributing to the general fund through? It is easy to pinpoint the property taxes and that is what has been discussed all along as to the "lopsided tax base". And if we could pin it down, would it not stand to reason that due to the lack of industry, that our individual citizens are paying more of the taxes encompassing the general fund? So, this is a moot point.

Good Lord Whitey - is it really that hard for you to admit you are wrong. All we have ever talked about is the property tax base with regards to the lopsided tax base. You know that, I know that, most everyone that has followed this knows that. As to the SPLOST, there is no way to even gauge that for individuals or corporations either for that matter. As to property taxes, it is really simple. Oh and by the way......I said Georgia would beat South Carolina today but guess what? I was wrong. I own it.

I'm glad Georgia Tech won. I am sorry Georgia lost. Georgia deserved to lose that game. The defense was horrid and their last offensive play of the game was even more horrid. Hopefully, they learned some valuable lessons from this game and the next one will be much better.

What a cop out Whitey. Why don't you simply "man up" and admit you were wrong as I proved to you in black and white. There is absolutely no valid argument on this. You can try to maneuver and manipulate the situation all you want but the very simple fact is you were wrong and I called you out on it. Have the integrity to do what most other human beings have to do sometimes and that is admit they were wrong. We are all sometimes wrong about something - otherwise, we are not human beings. Own it.

You know, this is what happens when you posts things just because "you heard them". I truly wish everyone here would take the time to check out for themselves the real facts. Truly, you owe it to yourselves and you owe it to the person that is being talked about. Thanks everyone! I ordered a case of it online a few minutes ago. My New York friends are killing me - look what we had for dinner tonight. Anyone ever heard of a "trash plate"? It was great! Homemade meat sauce, french fries, hamburger, hot dogs, macaroni salad, baked beans, onions, etc. Mix it all together and you have a "trash plate". Evidently this is a Rochester, NY dish that is very popular up there. It was excellent but I don't think I will ever eat again in my life.

Do you know what this is? BEST.STUFF.EVER. My husband and I are now officially addicted to this stuff - just wish we could buy it in the South.
