They make me sick also - 100 percent of the time. Doesn't matter if they are given orally or by IV, I will become deathly ill after. I always am amused at doctor's reactions when they try to prescribe any kind of pain medication - they always seem weirdly pleased when I tell them I will stick with my over the counter Advil.

Dr. Davis and his parents attended church with us for several years. They were some of the first people I met after marrying my husband and moving here and I have very fond memories of them. He will be missed!

It is a great place and I'm with you, I'm glad it doesn't change much. I think it is good that there is a building ordinance that doesn't allow anything over 3 stories so as to not distract from the natural beauty of the beach. Our house is actually just over the line in Gulf County (Beacon Hill Beach) even though we can throw a rock and hit the "Welcome to Mexico Beach" sign which is in Bay County. It gets a little confusing sometimes as Bay County is in the Central Time Zone and Gulf County is in the Eastern Time Zone - cell phones go back and forth all the time. I love my new sign

I'm pretty sure you are a wonderful cook rockysmom (I've heard stories). The grocery stores have been really busy the last couple of weeks or so. My Publix in New Hope and Kroger at Crossroads have been busy every time I have been there lately and that is a great thing! I love to see people smiling, love a good, positive attitude and love to see people enjoying themselves. I think you will love TNT jenilyn. I love barbeque but I am a little "leery" and will always examine it well before I eat it. TNT barbeque not only looks good but taste very good. Their hamburgers are excellent also as well as their side items. They have excellent Brunswick stew. Every time I have gone to TNT, it has been crowded (but still has fast, courteous service). The restaurant is very clean and the owners are very cordial.

I agree. It would be nice to have more restaurants in this area. The suburban coastal town we lived in outside of Houston had my favorite - lots of tea rooms with the best "finger foods" ever. And some of the best bakeries - the best kolache ever! One of the first things I learned while living in Texas is that the plural of kolache is not kolaches - it is kolache.

Unless we are out of town, my family and I will be there on the Saturday of the Air Show. Great community event and something all the little kiddos and adults alike will enjoy!

I love to "explore" the downtown area of Dallas and all its unique shops. I like shopping at places that are different, are locally owned, have some character and are not the "run of the mill" kind of places. You are really missing it if you haven't checked out the shopping, events, etc. in downtown Dallas lately.

That is a beautiful story - thanks for sharing Brian! Here is a photo of my grandmother at age 99 and her last trip to the beach with us. I miss her every day of my life. . We had such a good time. She was in great shape for her age and could walk that beach with the best of us! Can't get the picture to download from my Ipad.

Our Dawgs played great! So proud of Chubb and all that he is accomplishing - he is such an asset to this team! Praying that Gurley's knee will be okay. Proud for Georgia Tech also as they played a fantastic game against Clemson!
