We should take up donations for hospitalization of Ms. Patti Smith so she can get some help. I live under the flight path between McCollum Field and Cartersville airport. When stationed there, Emory Flight 3 flew over many times daily. Blackhawks (yes, they are noisy) and other heliocopters fly over the house as well. I work at home and have never been driven to flashbacks of war.

why would you not want to work with a rescue? I am a foster home for English Pointers. I keep the dog until a suitable home is found for the dog that I am fostering. There is screening involved and the dog will only go to a home with a fence and what is needed to properly care for the breed. Same with English Bulldogs - I am sure they have needs and are not for everyone. A rescue knowledgeable with the breed will give the dogs the highest chance of success in their new home.

I would suggest you work with a rescue group - http://georgiaenglishbulldogrescue.org/ They will be able to line up a home that will understand the breed and have a high change of success as they move on to a new home.

I was living in Norcross at the time. I recall all the pine trees bent over to the ground. They all had to be cut down. I don't recall it being that bad. We were a camping family back then and had all the gear to cook and light the house.

I would like to see 61 by pass from maybe north of Cartersville to i-20. 61 would need to be widened to 4 lanes - much like 113 over in Bartow to Rockmart.
