Hope someone doesn't turn this into an MJ post! Honestly - my son is 7 and he eats me out of house and home. No more kids menus, 12 inch subs at subway. He's a lanky kid, perfect weight, he's just very active and eats constantly. We are a family of 2 and we spend nearly $150/wk on groceries. Granted, he does eat pretty well, fruits, veggies (produce isn't cheap!), yogurt, cheese, pepperoni, tuna are some of his favorite snacks - but he probably drinks a gallon of milk a week by himself! And all signs say that it won't get any better! Good luck!

Well, we're back from a fabulous weekend at Disney. We spent 4 days and 3 nights at Disney and I know some of you are planning trips soon, so here's a review. I hope you find it helpful. Animal Kingdom Lodge: It's a good long drive from the parks! While I enjoyed walking out on the balcony and seeing the animals, we really only got a few minutes to enjoy them in the morning before heading to the parks. They were bedded down in the evenings. Given the added bus ride to (and more importantly FROM) the parks, I'd stay closer to the theme parks next time. Food and pool were good and they are

Look, Michael Jackson was certainly an odd man, but he was still a person. And - in case you forgot, he's the King of Pop. He gave us great songs like ABC, PYT and introduced us to video productions like Thriller. I remember wearing the glove, having the jackets, pins, all the tapes. I, for one, will miss him...and I'd like to think that there are a great many others that will be impacted by his loss.
